It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I couldn't figure out the TV so may some available instructions for non-techy people like me. But it was nice to walk in after a long day and see that there was no "surprises". I felt safe.

Very clean little motel near the Portland airport. Rooms are in great condition and facility is well maintained and secured. Also close to Rocky Butte natural area and The Grotto - lovely little side trips before leaving Portland if you have some time before your flight.

The area around the property was very unsafe, run down and dirty. It was very loud around the property, trains and trucks. The room was fine. Very small bathroom.

I was disappointed with this place. There was an a/c unit in the main area and even with it at the lowest temperature and both fans running, the other bedroom was hot. The toilet seat was broken and the toilet paper was the cheapest 1 ply. It was a place to stay and that’s it.

My room was plain, but clean and comfortable, with all the expected conveniences—coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator. This is an old-style park at your door motel, very convenient. If you’re a caffeine addict you’ll probably want to stop somewhere for something stronger, but, hey, this is Oregon! Coffee everywhere! I took off one star on the Eco-friendly category because of the disposable plastic coffee baskets the machine uses. The location was ideal for visiting friends in NE Portland. For some reason, Google Maps tries to send you down NE 119th, apparently thinking the locked back gate is the entrance. Ignore that, and just look for the green and gold sign on Sandy. That's the real entrance. The prices are reasonable, and I will probably stay here again the next time I’m in town.

I was disappointed that there was no chair or table in the room, as there always has been the many times I've stayed here in the past. It felt weird to drink coffee sitting on the bed. Apart from this detail, it's still one of the most economical places to stay on the East Side that's convenient to anywhere.

Front desk was accommodating and friendly. Made room change request without any issues when first room smelled strongly mildewed. Second room was clean and fresh. Area around motel is kind of downtrodden. Overall experience was comfortable!

Family-owned motel close to PDX. Room was very clean and in line with motels in this price range, good value. I felt safe as a single woman, but the area is not the greatest, you'd want a car to go out for meals. Owner was personable and seemed to run a tight ship. Only downside is it's across the street from the freight train tracks which run all night -- though I'm pretty noise sensitive and it didn't bother me once I fell asleep.
