Staff, food and location excellent. Room tired, shower leaking in room 1. Room dusty and tired. Although bed was comfortable. Noisy on the first night from other residents', no one appeared to be supervising late guests and controlling the noise and disturbance. Stopped round 2am, so not much sleep the first night. Needs to perhaps have a member of staff on reception during the night.

The free breakfast is misleading. It's just coffee, cereals and biscuits. There was no hot breakfast served, you have to pay to have yourself a proper breakfast meal. However, the inn was quaint and in a very lovely location especially with the river view room. The younger staffs were very polite and helpful.

It was a nice stay, very quaint and comfortable room. Facilities are good and everything was in working condition. The location is exceptional, I had a view of the Afon river from my window which was great. Public carpark is available just over the bridge. £4 for overnight (6pm to 8am) parking or £8.50 for 24h. I docked a point because the pub downstairs smells of stale beer, there was left over water in my kettle, and I'm not sure if I was supposed to ask, but the room wasn't cleaned on my 2nd day. I'm not fussed about the bed or the towels but I would've liked for my coffee cup to be washed. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

More of a pub with rooms than a hotel/inn. The bar downstairs was open until 2:40am, loud music and rowdy clientele keeping us awake well beyond what is reasonable to expect. “Double” bed was two singles pushed together, cobwebs in the corners and nowhere for clothes in the room, so you live out of a suitcase. No parking should have been better advertised, there is parking on the roads nearby or in a pay to play car park over the bridge. Great location but feel like we massively overpaid for what it is.
