Great location in the centre of Betws-y-Coed

The bedroom itself and the facilities were very basic and there was a musty smell upon first entering the building. This is a converted house and unfortunately the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything. Unfortunately, a group of around 5 people were incredibly loud and decided to play a card game until almost 1am in a lounge downstairs. They had zero respect for other people sleeping there and were treating the place like a youth hostel. There are no staff on site which is bizarre and throughout our stay, i didn’t see a single member of staff in the hotel. If there had been, I’m sure the noise wouldn’t have been allowed to stand.

Really nice room with an amazing view! Bed was comfy and the whole room was very clean!! Easy check in too!

Maybe some blinds in the bathroom for privacy and a way to change the temperature in the room (the dial on the radiator didn’t seem to change this) :))

They lied and said they provided parking … they don’t A public road /side roads and public car parks you need to pay for do not qualify for them to state they provide parking. Staff/owner wants to argue and tell me what I can see on the website isn’t there (screen shotted and sent proof back to them via email) False advertising but still took my money and refused a refund when it all came to light.

Noisy neighbours but that was not the fault of the property! The staff managed the customers very well as they locked themselves out then were rude to the person that came to help them at 2:15am!

In the town close to amenities.

No breakfast. Thought that was included when I booked. No staff about so not a friendly welcome with local chatter . So not the B&B experience we were expecting. No chocolates as it said in one message.

Perfectly located. Easy walk to everything in town. Decent price, good value. Good size bathroom, nice shower. Cute decor. Discount at a cafe and Indian restaurant next door. We tried the restaurant and were very pleased.

Bed could use a new mattress. The parking was a little disappointing. Owner said free street parking next to the church. Unfortunately, the parking wasn’t for just Fairhaven Stay. Anyone could park there and did. We were lucky to get a spot a couple times, not so other times. Our last morning we could hear someone snoring in another room and they’re alarm go off.

Location was perfect, easy check in and key collection, great communication with owners prior to stay, comfortable beds along tea & coffee making facility. Would return although not in room 7 for reason below

We booked 2 rooms, while room 9 was all fine, room 7 had a constant dripping water sound wish spoil the nights sleep, would return although not in room 7

Lovely room, curtains, cushions, view. Loved the fridge.

Beautiful and comfy room, it was also great having access to a shared fridge downstairs. Fantastic location, we really enjoyed hiking in the area.

The main downside was the WiFi not working. Not hugely important for us, but we did send a message about it and didn't get a reply - some extra care around this would be great!

Location is excellent walking distance to all you need. The overnight parking from 6pm by the station is ideal to park

For one night it worked well for us, only slight downside the bed was super soft for me but everyone is different !

Good size room, nice little garden out back, good location with plenty shops restaurants etc around. Property was clean with plenty space for clothes etc

No hand towels for bathroom. No staff around when stuffed. No parking for property, all parking around was not suitable for a full overnight stay so had to go repay for extra couple hours.

Lovely room

The property is at the budget end of the spectrum which helps with affordability. The beds are comfy and the property is in a great location. Good access to Snowdonia park and lots of food and drink options in the vicinity.

The property is not staffed, access is dealt with through key boxes. There is no-one on site. If you have any issues you go next door to the Indian restaurant. There was a lot of noise late into the night firstly from the owners and then other guests.

The location of the property was easily accessible and in a central spot, the beds were comfortable and the facilities were adequate for the price.

A few concerns regarding the cleanliness of the rooms, some mould/mildew was spotted in the bathroom and alongside the windows. There was someone yelling at about 7am inside the property, but unsure as to what this was about.

Random things missing - no tea spoons with the kettle and mug, no bath mat, mould on the bathroom ceiling, not that clean, shower didn’t get hot.

Location and size of room. Quiet room for being on the 1st. Floor with Main Street in front.

Only had 2 large towels for two people for two nights. No hand towels, wash cloths or bath mat when stepping out of shower. Contact made as outlined in information sent to us if “need arises “. But we never heard from any staff for the two days we stayed there.

Cleanliness was great, facilities provided were good.

Size of the room - requested a standard double room but was given the smallest double room with low natural lighting and a very poor view of the garden.

Perfect location opposite the river. Lovely, spacious character room and bathroom with lounge area. A nice surprise was the communal kitchen and dining area downstairs with sunroom looking outside to river

We loved Fairhaven! Would love to stay here again

The location

My bedding was not clean. It has make up hairs and eyelashes on the sheets and pillow. The curtains were barely hanging onto the rail and as a consequence let all the light in in the morning meaning I was awake from 5am and couldn’t get back to sleep.

The location was good, staff answered my phone call when I had an enquiry about finding the property. The room was clean with a garden view. Lovely garden sitting area and a room at the front of the house to eat and drink.

The wooden floor is very rough in patches, best to keep your shoes on. Only street parking was available which was a 10-15 minute walk away. Otherwise all good.

Overnight stay after walking trip. Super convenient for all the shops and restaurants (literally next door) Super comfy bed, lovely cosy room, and nice little garden to sit and have a morning brew.

The comfortable bed. Beautiful decoration in room and facilities. Excellent location for the railway station and buses also to get to Zip World and Swallow Falls
