An excellent old hotel in a great location.

This is a well located property in a city where hotel accommodation is expensive. The hotel is an old building, decently maintained. Our breakfast was excellent. I question if it is a four or a three star hotel however.

This historic hotel is very close to the centre but on a quiet street. The rooms are themed and ours was a former horse stable on 2 levels (sitting area downstairs and bedroom and full bathroom upstairs). The stairs between the 2 floors were a bit steep but manageable.
The staff are very helpful and the breakfast (hot and cold buffet) was very good.
We chose to park our car in the hotel parking garage (the hotel gave us several parking options). We were given the parking garage address and good instructions on how to find it and access it. We’ve never used a parking garage car elevator lift so that was a bit stressful at first. No problem exiting the garage once we’d mastered the lift.
This hotel is clean and in a good location for those wanting to stay in a place with historic charm.

Fabulous hotel that has retained all of its character. Very good breakfast. Excellent location.
