Pand 17 - Charming Guesthouse

The location is excellent. Centrally located with most all sites within walking distance. The room was good sized, the bed was comfy and the pillows great! The air conditioning was excellent! The bathroom was large and shower was nice and strong. The guest house is just a few yards away from a main street and, as we learned later, just steps away from the most photographed location in Bruges. We opened the windows for some fresh air and when we closed the windows we could not hear a thing!!! What a great surprise to find a guesthouse so centrally located and yet so quiet.

I did not read the listing completely and so did not realize that our reservation was for the guest house and not the hotel. Our building ( the guest house) did not have a lift (elevator). Thankfully the desk clerk helped carry our luggage to our room. The hotel, however, has a lift.

Fantastic location - close enough to just be a few mins walk to everywhere but also in a nice quiet area. While this was the guesthouse we also had access to the facilities of the Pand hotel. The staff were excellent - chatty and friendly. We asked them for a recommendation for dinner and it was a great suggestion. They marked our tourist map with places to go, where the supermarkets etc were. It was a very hot whilst we were there but the aircon in the room performed fantastically . Nice solid wifi connection too.

Bed too hard for me but pillows were lovely No kettle although this was quickly remedied by staff on enquiry
