The location, property, service, food and staff were superb. However our room had several issues. We arrived at midnight and the water was not running. So we could not even flush the toilet. They sent a plumber who told us the water was shut off due to some maintenance. While this is not Unreasonable, they should have let us know as soon as we checked in or give us another room that worked properly.

I arrived 2 hours before check in time, the room WAS READY, but I had to pay of I wanted to take the room early.

It was really bad. The place was dirty and old, and there were cockroaches (photo attached). I tried to cancel my stay, but I spoke to the front desk, and they told me that Expedia would have to contact the hotel. I contacted the Expedia helpline, and they told me they had tried to contact the hotel, but there was no answer. The front desk staff showed very little interest on helping me they were just indifferent.

The property was beautiful. It definitely resembled an old school hacienda. The restaurant staff was so friendly and the food was amazing. Our courtyard room had a door that went straight into the courtyard and the peacocks in the area were gorgeous to look at.

Nice classic-mexican hotel right next to the highway, very convenient and close to many popular destinations. The gardens are very pretty and so is the lobby, rooms are a bit simple and a bit outdated but clean and the staff is very nice

It’s a misión style hotel. So don’t expect a modern hotel style. It has a convenient restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only negative encounter was my room outlet was very limited to 2 working outlets. But overall I chose this hotel because my sister lives 2 minutes away.

Hotel is a beauty of old hacienda style living. The dining hall and breakfast are amazing. The grounds take you back to life in Mexico when haciendas and rich spaniards rule the land. The service is outstanding, everyone goes beyond their duties to assist. Only thing is that it could be a problem for people with special mobility, as is huge and many rooms need lots of uneven walking and on second floor with no elevator. Pool is great (no heating but not extrenely cold in summer.. winter may be quite cold). We would come back because it is really a very nice property.
