    Our stay at Park Grand Hyde Park was very disappointing. While the location is good, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was large, there were far too many problems for a hotel of this standard. Most concerning, I fell off an unmarked step in the holding area. There was no clear warning or signage indicating the change in level. This was a serious safety issue and should have been addressed by the hotel. There were also numerous problems with the room. The remote control was filthy, the towels were threadbare, the bathroom amenities were extremely basic, and several of the lights were broken or visibly worn. We requested an extra blanket, but when we returned to the room, instead of the requested blanket, a sheet had simply been left on the desk. There were also significant security and service concerns. A maid left a master key in our guestroom, which was unacceptable. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, the front desk was unattended, leaving us wondering where assistance was available if we needed it. The restaurant was closed during our stay, yet we were offered breakfast for £16. Staff engagement was mixed—some employees were pleasant and helpful, while others were noticeably less attentive. Overall, although the location is convenient, the combination of an unmarked step that caused me to fall, cleanliness and maintenance problems, threadbare towels, inadequate amenities, the master-key incident, and an unattended front desk made this a very disappointing stay. The hotel needs significant improvement in guest safety, security, maintenance, cleanliness, and customer service.

    Do not be fooled, this is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. I am not sure if it deserves a 3. You do not get the room that you booked, the breakfast is awful. The only thing going for this motel is the proximity to Paddington station.

    This hotel was a disappoitment upon arrival when we saw piled old wood in process of Rehabilitation. That was a disappoint , plus the fact that listing shows restaurant, loung, which were non existent. We were directed to location on same street with a restaurant. This review is based on lack of proper information.

    Hotel is located very close to Paddington but needs to do some Repairs to freshen it up. Breakfast is very busy and they don’t refresh quickly enough. Bed mattresses are comfy but needs to be upgraded. Overall seems to be a good place if you get a sale.
