    It’s the first time to stay in Kagoshima Daiwa Ryonet. We’ve stay the one in Kumamoto and was very pleased with it, however the one in Kagoshima was a little disappointed as first was parking was very far away and hard to park during weekend and second was the room wasn’t as spacious as we expected. Third was the buffet breakfast was very limited item that we felt for the price paid, it wasn’t very satisfying and wasn’t really nice. So we won’t recommend going for breakfast from the hotel for people staying.

    Apart from a broken washer-dryer in the communal laundry room that threw a wrench in the works (it didn't dry my clothes at all) I had a phenomenal stay at this hotel and in Kagoshima in general. The rooms are spacious and so are the bathrooms, the view is great and the bathtubs are actually big enough for a north European to use! The staff was friendly and helpful, and there were designated smoking rooms on both the 7th and top floor. A downside is the restaurant/ bar feels a little inaccessible. We wanted to try the bar but arriving early there seemed like there was already too many people there to enjoy the night so we went elsewhere. Why they've walled off the bar like this makes no sense to me. The entire top floor should be open so you can see the view from all sides. This is a bit of a wasted opportunity for a top floor bar.

    まず立地に対して金額が本州では考えられない費用でその時点でコスパが良いです。また部屋にRefaのドライヤーとヘアアイロンが置いてあり感動しました。アメニティも雪肌精、付属のシャントリはKNOLLと細かい所までおもてなしを感じて大変過ごしやすかったです。部屋も広く綺麗でとても快適に過ごせました。また鹿児島に行く際は是非泊まりたいです。 First of all, the price is unthinkable for a location like this on Honshu, so it offers excellent value for money. I was also delighted to find a Refa hairdryer and hair straightener in the room. The toiletries included Sekkisei, and the bathrobes were by KNOLL – I could feel the attention to detail in every little aspect, making my stay extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and clean, and I had a very pleasant stay. I would definitely like to stay here again the next time I visit Kagoshima.

    Staff was pleasant but can’t understand English. They answered the same to all questions asked and check in was very confusing. Room was very small. Room service was allowed after staying a minimum of 3 days. Linens were badly stained at check in and despite requested room service after Day 3, no one came and linen was never changed. They came up with all sorts of excuses inc cleaning staff not working after morning hours. There was no pool, hot tub or exercise facility and only one room for laundry. However the location was convenient and breakfast was decent. It’s not a cheap hotel so stay at your own risk. BTW the hotel across the street is just 1/2 the price of this hotel.
