No bedbugs. They said the issue had already been resolved by isolating the infected rooms. However, my room was not as clean as it should have been. I don’t think the sheets had been changed, as they were dirty and had some hair and debris on them. The window was faulty and could not be closed properly, so the room was very cold. The heater also did not work well, so I had to wear Heattech and socks to stay warm. The location was great though, it’s close to all the museums and very walkable to the city centre.

Everything was good other than 2 issues
1- I was charged 12.5% of total hotel cost which was around £30 as taxes when my booking says I only owe hotel £2.58 as remaining Texas. I did explain to receptionist but they said I should speak with agoda as they don’t pay to hotel even if they charge the guest already . Which was strange and not a good experience as a guest of being over charged while the booking clearly says how much remaining I should be paying at hotel. Hotel management need to resolve this issue with agoda. They should only be charging as per what booking says. So be reminded of an extra cost that you will be charged 12.5% of total booking cost as Texas at hotel regardless .
2- one of male hotel reception staff won’t acknowledge you even if you stay there at reception for long and even if he sees you are standing and waiting to be served. I went to reception and he saw me , don’t remember the name and was busy on his phone. I stood there and waited for Nearly couple of minutes thought he would acknowledge me however after waiting there for long I had to intervene while he was busy on phone. I am not sure if it is normal in Amsterdam but I find it bit rude and disrespectful. He seemed
Always busy on his phone most of the time while walking in and out from hotel. However the lady who checked me in was lovely - I guess her name was Dragana or dargana. She also helped me with check out
And luggage, super friendly and helpful.
Other than that room was small but for solo traveler and for couple
Of nights it was good for what I paid.
