    Excellent location! From the hotel, it’s only a one-minute walk to Victoria Street and about five minutes to Edinburgh Castle. I highly recommend the hotel’s breakfast. Although it’s a bit more expensive than most of the cafés in the area, the quality and variety make it well worth the price.

    Checked in to find air con heating not working they brought us an electric heater. Didn’t attempt to fix the air con during our 4 nights stay. Bed bugs First night did not sleep. Had to strip my bed & open windows. It did improve. No hand towel rail in bathroom it’s needed near the sink. Not enough drawer storage. Sister hotel few mins away had pool & sauna pack your swim gear. Water fountain on 4th & /2nd floor. No slippers or robe. Breakfast to order was amazing especially smoked salmon. Location was just fab right in grass-market. Castle, victory’s street & royal mile all within a few minutes walking. Bit pricey for what we got.

    Great stay only issue was the obvious visual fail for safety of the bed lamp . Exposed wires. I avoided using it and the rest of the room and stay was great.
