The double room was decent for two people, and we were on the third floor with a great view of the castle. However, it got extremely hot up there with no way to control the temperature.
The showers were the biggest issue. I had to try multiple showers before finding one that worked properly; some had broken handles, others had no hot water, and a few had broken doors. They also became very dirty quickly in the mornings.
The front desk staff didn’t explain the facilities in much detail upon arrival, so we had to figure out things like the kitchen and laundry ourselves. I was able to get a fan after asking at the front desk, but when my husband later asked for one, he was told they didn’t have any, which felt inconsistent and dismissive.
