    Location is great near to Hakone Yumoto Station perfect to explore around Hakone. Really love the thoughtfulness of the hotel as they provide amenities like claw clip, Eyemask etc… it’s a first for me! I love how cozy the room is and the bed is huge.

    We loved our stay at zagakukan. Would definitely recommend the room with private onsen.

    One of the nicer hotel that I can find in Hakone at decent price. Hotel is located a distance from train station which might be a hassle if you are with luggages. I opt for the bus instead which 5 mins from hotel. Hotel is located at a very quiet corner with some restaurant nearby. There is two flight of stairs that you have to go up to enter lobby which caused us to struggle a little as our luggage is extremely heavy and there is no lift. Receptionist at night shift is not very well versed in English but he has a good translator device thus all is good. Room is very very clean and cosy. Size is quite small like a typical hotel in Japan. Can only open two big luggages if we stretch and block the main door. Onsen is just a little tub in the room but shower is good!

    Cute little hotel but our room was big and fabulous, newly renovated with onsen bathtub!! I didn't wanna leave! Had its own genkan and tatami floors, the bathroom area is so modern with small steps up and glass doors for the tub/onsen area. It was soooo relaxing I felt like a noodle after taking a hot bath. Front desk staff Yuji is the nicest!! Definitely coming back in future!!
