    Such a nice place, I got a king sized bed even as a single traveller. It is cheaper because it is not in the main areas and also because I went in summer but it is near the train station, so quite convenient. Bed was very clean and comfortable, bathrobes were provided too, very spacious, probably one of the most value for money places I have ever stayed.

    My stay at The Royal Park Canvas Kyoto Nijo was fantastic. The hospitality was excellent, and the amenities and toiletries provided were top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

    Excellent location overall. The room was spacious and a decent size. The staff were helpful and accommodating.

    The hotel is in a great location, the place was so clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. However, the staff service did not match the standards of other hotels. Employees were frequently too busy talking to each other about their private lives—often so loudly that we could hear everything. It felt very unprofessional. This happened consistently with most staff members, including the breakfast kitchen team. They often chose to finish their personal conversations before helping us, leaving us standing and waiting for their attention. We spoke with other guests at breakfast, and they shared the exact same views about the staff atmosphere. While the amenities were good, the poor service significantly impacted our experience.
