Good size rooms and location was central

Room was good but the carpet was very dirty. Lots of stains. Everything else was clean. Staff was helpful, courteous and attentive. Location is great. 12 minutes walk to Reijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. You can take a tram from Amsterdam central station and it stops right across the street from the hotel. It was a 10-15 minutes ride. All the taxi drivers at the station try to scam you since there are no fixed prices. So the fact that it was so easy to get to the hotel via tram was a pleasant surprise.

This was my second stay and my second review of this property. We booked it again after our first visit as we were happy with the location, cleanliness, breakfasts and their helpful staff.

I have stayed in this hotels for more than 3 times, but this time was the worst, the house keeping doesn't clean the room as they suppose, several times I asked for changing the bedsheets because my son wet the bed, they see the pee and they just fix it they don't change it, plus in my stays before they offered an extra bed for free, this time I'm staying in a suite and they asked for extra charge, even when I asked for late check out they asked for extra charge, the times before they did it for me for free. All the staff is changed. The AC is not that cold so I asked for a fan and thank for them they brought me a fan. I don't think I will be staying in the hotel for my upcoming visits to Amsterdam .
