Room was value for money. Perfect for a one night stop over. Hotel staff friendly on check-in. Breakfast was good to have as an option for €17, plenty of options. Loved the waffle maker. A couple of things to note. Our shower fixture did not hold the shower upright, meaning you had to regularly reposition this/ or hand hold. Only one towel provided per person. No hand towels in room. No tea/ coffee facilities in room.

Positives: Wonderfully situated hotel on the banks of the river Meuse in Dinant, a really interesting historical town. Easy walk to the Citadel, cable car, and restaurants. Compact ‘school themed’ hotel with a nice selection of rooms, some overlooking the river. Compact breakfast room, bar area and reception. Lift and stairs available. Outside seating area over looking the river. Bar snacks available (pizza, spag bog etc). Comfy bed, hot showers, air con, good amounts of parking with motorcycle parking right outside the door. Some friendly staff, but some not so friendly. Negatives: Unless you smoke beware! The outside seating area is very close to the bar and restaurant and under the bedrooms, so cigarette smoke is everywhere. There is no designated area away from non smokers. I personally found this a major negative.

Hotel looks a lot worse than the photos displayed on the site. Our room was located on the below the dining area and lobby, thus noisy and dark. You can see the people walking near your room. The bathroom is like the ones at the cruise ships and the pipe smelled bad. The breakfast buffet is mediocre. Positive feedbacks will be that it was easy checking in and out.

A standard IBIS hotel, a lovely walk along the river to the town. Breakfast was very nice would stay again. The abbey was a good place to visit and try Leffe. Will come back to do the other things available.

Very good hotel and convenient as only a 10 min walk to the center of town. One of a few hotels which had A/C and much needed during the hot weather. Offered parking on site for free and had a nice bar. Located on the riverfront and very nice. Didn't have their breakfast as cost but many options in town. Would stay here again and thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Very dark gloomy room! Only two bedside lamps. And the bathroom door is such that when you open or close it maybe the whole hotel can hear it. We also asked for an extra blanket.. it was not possible to get! Only breakfast was good thing in this hotel. That was good.

This is a favourite stop-off point for us. Great beers on tap and lovely outside deck to enjoy them when the weather is sunny. Good varied breakfast but many items missing on this Friday we were here; fine on the Saturday. A kettle in the room would be welcome and a bathroom door that is much less noisy. Parking is sadly no longer free and we spent an hour vainly trying to load the App. Staff were very friendly.

We chose this hotel as an overnight stop on the way from Dunkirk to the Black Forest in Germany, purely because of its position along our route. We knew nothing about Dinant until much later. A fascinating place, lovely architecture, a small museum at the birthplace of Adolphe Saxe, inventor of the saxophone, and Maison Leffe, the home of my favourite Belgian beer! The hotel is clean and modern, beautifully situated on the river bank - a river view room is worth the extra charge if offered. They have a bar serving some foods, with a lounge overlooking the river, and a riverside patio to relax. Staff were very friendly and attentive, and seemed very proud of the place. Bedroom was very comfortable and of adequate size, and the location is within easy walking distance of a variety of cafes and restaurants. Parking, on the street or in any of the car parks, is charged hourly - 75 cents per hour when we visited - but only from 9am to 5pm, so overnight is free. There is a lovely atmosphere around town, and it warrants further exploration. Lots of guests of many nationalities, and the fact that many of them were returning guests speaks for itself. We only had an overnight stop, so sadly couldn't experience much of this lovely town, but we will be back for a longer visit, and will definitely stay at the Ibis Dinant Centre again! Highly recommended.

Great place to stay in Dinant, easy parking options, all sights in pleasant walk 5-10 minutes. Room was comfortable and clean, amenities are perfect. Good breakfast. Open terrace with a river view was an amazing place to enjoy local beer. Very friendly and professional staff: Jordan, Jekatherina, Pomme and Allan - they made our stay very comfy. And of course a fairy of the kitchen - Irina. Highly recommend that hotel, your expectations will be exceeded, I'm sure. Way to go!

Booked the hotel for location, not expecting a great deal but in the end, only redeemed by staff. Room, small but adequate, however a slight, 'kitcheney' smell in small wardrobe, not removed by leaving window open. Even more suprising, only two towels for the two of us. Don't know if they expect people to dry their faces on the same towel that they've dried their bodies on but didn't seem very hygienic to us. Asked at reception for extra but they only had one. Admitted that other guests had previously been unhappy about policy. Finally catering poor. Very limited snacks available (basically a couple of things they could microwave). Breakfast equally poor. Appeared not to replenish items (not many options) that had been used. Sorry, realise Ibis is a budget range but to parsimonious in their attitudes for us to consider using again.

The hotel was convenient to walk into Dinant, it was OK but not exceptional. Breakfast was good although hot choices could have been better presented and hotter. Parking is available but it is chargeable ! The room was functional although I would have loved to have seen electrical points closer to the bed and ideally with USB charging points for phones etc.

A lovely one night stay in Dinant. Slightly further out the centre but only 20 minute walk from the train station so it was perfect. Decent sized rooms for the price. Bar area and outdoor decking perfect to relax with a drink

Staff kept replenishing the food so all good If there is one criticism, it's the rooms and bathroom are a little tired. Bed really comfy and you get a great view of the boats sailing down the river Parking is now chargeable but it's 6 euro a day All in all a good stay if your travelling through

A good place to stay in Dinant, just outside the city center. We had a room with river view that was nice. Chaotic breakfast area, so be there early to avoid waiting. A large parking lot on the opposite side of the road from the hotel was cheap.
