I stayed at Happy Days Apartments in Liverpool and, while there were a few positives, overall the experience was disappointing. The communal entrance and stairway were untidy, with rubbish bags and worn carpets that clearly needed a deep clean. Inside the apartment, the furniture and bathroom were tired — the sofas were stained, and the bathroom floor felt soft and uneven, as if water had seeped underneath. Noise was a major issue. Every night we could hear loud music, shouting, and screaming from the nearby bars and street, making it very difficult to sleep. The area also felt a little rough, with a strip club at the end of the street adding to the uneasy atmosphere. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and the shower worked well. Overall, this accommodation might suit groups on a night out or those looking for a cheap place close to the nightlife, but if you value cleanliness, comfort, and a peaceful night’s sleep, it’s best to look elsewhere.

When arriving to the apartment there was no information on how to check in. After several calls to a reception number I was met by a rude person who explained that I have to follow the instructions. I asked where this information was sent but the guy was only irritated. After a few minutes walk to the reception the same guy was still rude and explained that they had sent info via Whatsup and all communication was via Whatsup. I had received several e-mails about different packages to buy and also later about checkout procedure so he was clearly not correct but just rude for no reason. The room was smelling of smoke and the kitchen fan was on full speed when we arrived. Will not visit again.

The apartment itself was in good condition apart from the lack of curtains and broken blinds. The major downfall for me was the location, right next to concert square where clubs and music goes on until 3am, 7 days a week. There should be soundproofing in place knowing where this apartment is located. Unless you can sleep through anything, I severely doubt you will get a good night’s sleep because of this

DO NOT BOOK HERE. Did not provide check-in information or how to check in. No front desk. Dont pick up Contact Number. (Contacted Expedia and they couldnt get hold of anyone either) Was forced to book another hotel last minute. Expedia refused to provide refund to date.

The stay overall was good overall disaponiting that vould mot get hot water out of shower, if took ages for hot water to come through both bathroom and kitchen sinks. No plug for kitchen sink. Be warned noisy area if looking for quiet stay.

The location was great but the cleanliness was appalling. There was absolutely no way you could use the kitchen facilities. Cups and glasses were literally stuck to the shelves. The bathroom was filthy. toothpaste all over the wall, the shower tray was appalling and the floor was dirty. The bed base has some interesting stains. We also paid for banners and balloons. What we received was laughable and not worth the £45 charged. No response from the company despite chasing them.

Excellent location, and extremely quiet despite being in a busy, loud area. Nice big space, very comfortable beds. Only problem is that the AC only cools the main room, so the bedrooms can get too warm.

Ideally located for nightlife, shopping, restaurants. The apartment was in great condition with all the comforts of home, far better than staying at hotel. The bed and bedding where so comfy. Communication and staff where excellent! big thank you to Ella.
