Nice rooms especially those on the riverside . Slight problem with during the night with an occasional blinding flash from something on the ceiling, probably smoke alarm. In room breakfast service excellent.

The lakeside hotel and leisure centre did not live up to our expectations. Despite a great location, there is nothing else going for this hotel. It is very outdated, with musty rooms. To the extreme that we had to change rooms as there was a smell of damp in our original room, which wasn't even the room we booked online. We had picked a double lakeview room, but were put in a family room with a view of the carpark. The second room was slightly better, if not a bit noisy. We could hear the showers and extractors fans in all of the rooms around us. What made it worse, was when we went to use the shower, there was no water pressure and had to abandon it. This was after requesting spare towels from reception, which also never arrived.
Final grievance was that I was charged €40 more by Agoda compared to what the room actually cost as shown in my receipt from the Lakeside.
