It is straddling an upscale vibe with a low-end service culture. Misinformation was all around. No one seemed to know when things were open and how things worked. The staff was under trained and poorly managed. They really could benefit from stronger management and offering higher wages to attract the right talent to make the place properly perform. The room was fine. A bit dated, but sufficient. Windows didn't open. Some noise from the hallway but not too much through the walls except for when we had kids next door. Restaurant was deeply disappointing: food, price, service. It is such a shame as the place has so much potential. We ended up eating out fairly regularly just to get taster food. For a Lebanese owned resort, it is really disappointing that they aren't offering a Mediterranean restaurant. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet was small and disappointing, and the menu items were quite the same. I expect more from a hotel of this caliber. They have (paid) EV chargers which is great. My biggest disappointment was the horrible smelling elevators. They smelled like vomit to me. And when I asked ChatGPT about it, it said that this is a common complaint in online reviews. All in all, the price that we paid was good, and made it worthwhile, but don't expect an upscale experience, just upscale visuals at the most.
