Holiday Inn Express Vancouver Airport Richmond by IHG

Breakfast room has limited seating and several guests sat for long periods talking or reading while others looked for spaces to sit

We came in at 3:05pm and clerk said room was not ready. He called housekeeping and she said we have to wait 15 minutes as. We did not get the keys until 3:25 pm . I reserved a handicapped room snd the clerk tried to say we did not have that but I had the printed the reservation which said accessible room on it. I paid more for that room and due to mobility issues I needed that room. We asked for a manager they said “no manager on duty” clerk on evening shift was giggling and unprofessional! Hotel is across the street from a noisy Costco which makes noise very early in morning around 4 am. No restaurant in hotel and breakfast buffet average. Next day manager Said that they have late check out to guests at 2 pm. They knew they had booked the room but they did not get it ready in time for 3 pm checkout. Refused any compensation and I had to complain to Travelocity when I got home! Don’t stay here! Go somewhere else!!!

Clean and comfortable room, which was quiet and had good climate control. The staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was typical self-serve buffet, which included hot and cold options. The Vancouver airport was nearby and the hotel provides a convenient shuttle service.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. The friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to accommodate us. Very clean rooms, excellent breakfast!! A great place to stay!!
