Hotel Xbalamqué Boutique & Spa

The breakfast was delish , however i never hit the spa the entire trip and at the time the pool was unavailable. We were still accommodated accordingly though

In the heart of downtown Cancún, amazing staff, close to everything. Recommended.

I came on a solo trip and the pics do not portray the actual pool or rooms. The room was stuck at a certain temp after my second day there. The remotes were confusing with no explanation. The toilet looked unclean but I realize its stains so it was clean just didn’t look like it. The shower seemed to have water damage or possibly mold. I payed through Expedia which we all know you get what you get once you are there since it’s paid in full. The staff was not friendly nor visibly open to communication. The window curtain had a stain, the towels were dark white, and the shower had low pressure. That being said I liked the restaurant in the hotel. The food the staff and space was nice. The shower temp was also good, I hate when it’s hard to get a comfortable temp but here was easy. The location is close to a market and the main Tulum avenue which gave access to a lot. Would I stay again, no. But it served the purpose of a place to sleep.
