Friendly kitchen staff and cleaners and a great breakfast

Gym equipment mostly unusable

Our hotel was under reconstruction when we came there. Receptionist waited us and ordered taxi to another upgraded without any additional cost. Excellent breakfast, pool.

traditional spanish style hotel in downtown cancun, good size rooms, nice communal areas, pool, buffet breakfast from 07.00. hotel was spotless. free coffee service a lovely touch.

a private designated smoking area next to the pool would have been great

Well firstly, we arrived at the property to find we weren’t staying there but staying in their other hotel across town, which we were not informed about prior or after booking. But the hotel we ended up in had big rooms, a lovely swim up bar and a good free breakfast selection and reasonably priced (and delicious) cocktails! Staff were friendly and they transported us from the first hotel to the second for free luckily, but it wasted time us not being informed up front.

I didn’t like the lack of communication from the hotel, we asked questions prior to arrival and were never informed that we were staying at the other hotel, we had booked it for the location to the ADO Bus terminal and the other was further away. The beds and pillows were also not comfortable.
