    Hotel is next to the Kyoto station-a big advantage. The room is spacious bearing in mind it's in Japan. The room is pretty clean and staff is very friendly. And it's value for money.

    My apologies for a late review. Our stay at Miyako Hotel Hachijo from 21st-23rd May was excellent. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and provided a relaxing atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. The house keeping staff were prompt in attending assistance. The efficient service and convenient location made this an ideal base for exploring Kyoto. The location is bang opposite Kyoto Station.

    Price and location were great. Generally a good hotel but we were placed in the older section of the hotel and the carpets were old, stained and smelled musty.
