The property is absolutely beautiful. From the ocean fed lagoon and pools to the huge art collection that spans the walkway.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Food is limited and expensive, but also good, just a bit overpriced.
The tram was broken down for 7 of our 10 days there, so a lot of walking was involved, and our A/C in our room needed to have the thermostat repaired almost daily.

We went to the Big Island just for a quick stop to hopefully see the volcano eruption (sadly it wasn’t active while we were there) and had minimal expectations of this place… we ended up loving the Big Island which was much quieter than Oahu or Maui and our family absolutely loved the Hilton Waikoloa Village. The place is beautiful and very well manicured. It is large and moving from one place to another on the resort took time, but our kids are college age and that just provided us some much needed physical activity after eating Poke nonstop. Really my only complaint would be that the restaurants on property closed early enough that if you were out late at all, there was nowhere to get food. Most places closed by 8:30. Aside from that, we loved it! I would definitely go back to this resort and stay longer!
