Very clean, staff was excellent.
I had to call to request simple things (spatula, no kitchen towels or washcloths, coffee). They brought them right away but those should be normal things.

Pool area and pool area dining were better than expected as well as the room size and layout.
Most of the public area garbage cans I saw were overflowing. It really detracted from a high- end resort feel.

The children loved the pool
Nothing, we came at a very good time. Everything is great.

Massive and has a luxe feel
Unique activities such as Dolphin Quest
Most of the Dining options close too early, making it inconvenient to have meals after 9pm upon return to hotel after activities outside

The grounds, amenities, cleanliness and staff.
I was told my room would be ready prior to check in but had to wait until check in time at 4 pm. Was granted an upgraded room.

Good quality finishes
Put us in an ADA room with a parking lot view. Not close to anything. In property restaurant is funky. No beach access.

We like that our room had a kitchen
check out at 10 is inhumane! At least 11, for this much $$

We were in building 11, ground floor with adjacent rooms. This was great for us (grandparents) and son's family so that we were easily accessible to help out within seconds. Ground floor was also a wonderful and safe "playground" for the two little ones! We also enjoyed the pools as it was well though out to accomodate all ages and physical abilities - adults only section, water recreation areas and a shallow beach with slide area for the younger children.
The buffet breakfast and eating area were accetable. Typical morning options. We are coffee snobs so were disappointed that the buffet coffee was marginal and not up to "Kona coffee" quality. Otherwise, it was a convenient area, next to the pools for familes to congregate.
We appreciated the Hilton Vacation Club's shuttle bus service - very punctual! - to other Waikoloa locations shops as well as other Hilton resorts). Thank you :)
The house keeping visit times were somewhat inconsistent, however the staff was quick to respond when we needed something fixed or cleaned.

We stayed in building 10 on the third floor and had a great inland view and golf course view. The rooms were quite spacious and clean; we enjoyed the division of pool areas (adult only vs. kid safe and recreational pool areas). Wonderful quite and safe places to walk about during the early morning and dusk time; beautiful onsite landscaping.
We like our entire stay other than it was too short and will definitely stay for a longer duration next time!

Staff and management excellent Miss MARTINEZ took care of us. She was the head manager that was always accommodating and making sure that we were comfortable and safe for my kids and my family. We got an excellent room that was most beautiful time something that will be cherished and remembered forever.
The pools next to building 24 is our go to pool amazing waterfalls and we always go back every year just to hang out at that pool

Beautiful accommodations! We had a gorgeous suite with two bedrooms , 2.5 bathrooms, living room, full kitchen and private patio. Everything was super clean!
Enjoyed the luxurious soaking tub and high end bed linens , fluffy towels & robes .
The hotel staff were professional, very friendly, and assisted us with dinner reservations . They even provided us with complimentary bottle of wine for our wedding anniversary .
We have no complaints. Our Hilton Waikaloa stay at the Grand Vacations King’s Landing was absolutely wonderful! 😊

Gorgeous property.
We reserved 2 rooms for a party of 8 family members so the lack of availability of rooms next to or near each other was a major problem for us.

Unit is very spacious, immaculately clean; there were no bugs and no gekkos (2nd floor unit). Balcony was also large and had a decent view of the mountains (but a unit on the parking-lot side would not be nearly as fortunate). Well placed for drives to Waimea or up and over the saddle to Hilo.
Location is over a mile from the coast and the flagship Hilton hotel; there are shuttles, but every half-hour. The second bedroom is internal and has no windows, which makes it quite unpleasant. Kitchen was adequate, but cabinets and appliances somewhat dated. And the price for the unit was rather high considering its location.

The layout of the room was nice. We booked 2 rooms and it was perfect for our large family. We enjoyed the private lanai overlooking the golf course.
I didn’t like that the staff called me almost daily trying to upsell us on becoming an owner. Three say it only takes 90 minutes for a presentation, but we’ve already spent much more time than that trying to reel us in. Honestly, we wanted to experience the property before committing to a whole presentation. For us, it wasn’t worth it. The rooms were actually a bit dirty - the guest bathroom seemed like it was skipped from cleaning altogether. The toiletries were empty, urine stains on the toilet. Also, it felt like there was never any staff members at the other pools, so we had to trek to the main pool for pool towels and wristbands. Lastly, despite the fact we had the privacy tag up, the staff would aggressively knock on our door early in the morning for cleaning. Not a pleasant way to start the morning!

Some of the options provided, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Also convenient and free shuttles.
Lack of a happy hour, limited check out delay and no formal dining.

Lovely pool , great bathroom shower and Japanese toilets- good location but not beachfront
Only one restaurant option a bar at the resort which closed too early ie 6 pm- other restaurants required half hr shuttle ride and weren’t open past 830. The village market was very overpriced compared to Kona Safeway that we discovered late in Our stay

Location good
The room quality was poor, we have stayed here several times, even used to be an owner. Rooms never been updated. So poor, doors falling off, chunks out of walls, kitchen tap broken, kept falling out of the faucet. I know they don’t clean much but the day they did, no towels replaced, or toilet paper. So disappointed for the amount you pay for a week over the Jan time frame. The dishwasher would leak all over the floor each use. All reported to hotel but the care factor was zero. To top it off, our cc was charged twice and money still not returned ! Been loyal to Hilton since we were owners, doubt will ever use again. Will not recommend, so disappointed.

It’s more relaxed than a hotel, less crowded.
I’d stay more often if it was a little more affordable.

Good location
We felt stranded out in a remote building. No towels or pool attendant. Check in was done by a trainee who keyed in wrong departure date. Had to wait to get access to the room the second night.

Spacious room. Nice common parts.
Front of house staff on check in utterly hopeless and seemed demotivated. Expensive and not good value for money.

We loved everything about our stay! The suite was well appointed, modern, clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare a meal. They even provided dishwasher tablets, washing liquid and washing powder for the washing machine which was really thoughtful. The pool is great for adults and kids! The Queens marketplace nearby has a grocery store and foodcourt. Would definitely recommend having a car to get around. Parking is free.
