Lovely time in IIha Grande, this hostel felt like home

The hostel was very beautiful, and in a good position. I was in a shared room with all girls, the staff was so kind with me, everything very clean ( the room was cleaned every day ) also the bathroom. The breakfast was in an amazing terrace with a lot of food, fresh and delicious, every day with something different ! I had a very wonderful time in this hostel, for all the time good vibes and positive energies ! And also I meet a lot of people. Especially thank to a girl of the staff, Xiro, she was so nice with me, I really appreciate her kindness, so happy to meet her, she gave me a lot of good advices and also she was very helpful with me !

It was ok

The pillows were very hard and the bed uncomfortable, which made it hard to rest. The towels are also very small, which is fine, but for a taller/bigger person may be inconvenient. We also had more cold showers than hot as the hot water was only working for 1/3 nights. The value for money is low, I consider it too expensive for the quality, service and breakfast.

Pleasant stay

Nice location and surrounded by jungle trees. The staff were really friendly and were really helpful. The room was a good size.

No hot water! The shower was cold everyday! The bed was quite hard and the room was slightly damp.

The staff were very nice. The breakfast was Amazing! i would stay here again. The power went out one night/morning after the rain. I woke up to find the electricity was out, but breakfast was still available just like the day before!

A great place with friendly hosts and nice breakfast!

- Very nice breakfast with fruits, bread, eggs, sausage, ham, cheese, etc... - The room is great with a nice shower - Location is good - 10min walk - The owner even let us took a shower when we came back from the hike. Many thanks!

Bedsheet and juice could be better. I would highly recommend to the owner to cover the matress properly so it doesn't get dirty with the time.

Exceptional

I liked the location of the guesthouse a lot: it is 5 minutes walk away from the beach and lies on a quiet path next to a small river, immersed in the nature of the jungle. The team was very friendly and helpful for so many things! Thank you Vanda, Angela and Angelica. The pousada has a good vibe among guests and team.

Nothing, everything was very good! :) A little suggestion: a cover sheet for the bed may be useful (to put between body and blanket).

Good

The place is quiet, that was a good quality in there, since the neighbor hostel we stayed was not, was always with many lads making noise around. The air conditioning works good and ventilation as well. The mini fridge helps a lot. We didn't watch TV so we cannot know about it, but the WIFI was perfectly fine. The breakfast was better than the previous hostel we stayed in, with more savory options like hot dogs, scrambled eggs, and cheese and ham, but always the same cake everyday. and other options has some fruits, biscuits, cereals, and yogurt for drinking and 2 types of juices. The location is fine, walk a little bit up, and really close to the nature and more hidden and reserved place, which is quiet and good to sleep in the afternoon as well.

The property in general is ok for the price, but the installations are a bit dated, need a really good investment in renovation, the shower is annoying; always spitting the little plug when we turn the water a bit stronger for a nice stream. The towels are really thin and small for showering body type. The pillows are too hard and uncomfortable. They are made of a really cheap foam which is already too old. The tap and all the accessories in the bathroom doesn't have a truly functionality for tourists. There's no much variation on the breakfast for who is gonna be at least 3 days, is gonna be always the same stuff.

Quiet and serene stay, good breakfast, comfy bed

Overall happy with the experience. clean, quiet, good breakfast. very comfortable bed. a small closet is to put away your cloths.

electric shower heater, although to be fair all pousadas in the island have the same. at least here there is a good water flow so you can fine tune the temprature. It is not as centric as other pousadas and there is a short uphill walk to get there. if you are moderately fit it shouldnt be an issue. it is reflected in the lower price, and well worth it in my opinion.

Very good

Lovely location just on the border of the city. Very quiet with daily visits from hummingbirds. Good breakfast with sufficient options. There is a shared kitchen if you want to prepare any food, additionally, there are complimentary snacks for quests. The host was very friendly and helpful, always giving tips and advice. The room was in general better than expected, good wifi and AC, clean, spacious room and shower.

The bathroom door is a foldable plastic one that doesn't close quite properly and provides no sound isolation so be prepared to get real close to your roommate.

So I stayed here for three nights, the room was excellent, the staff was very nice to me, but the single problem I had, it was the breakfast!!! I got really sick from it, I got food poisoned from it and I had to go to the hospital!! So please avoid breakfast at any cost. Apparently there is a bacteria in the food that affect us’’the tourists” But otherwise everything was fine!

The breakfast is pretty good for a hostel, because they offer many different things. But if you see the pictures at booking you maybe expect even more. - The old woman was very kind to us when we arrived. We were totally wet because of the heavy rain and she gave us a towel and a hot drink and also gave us some cake. We really appreciated it.

The weather was very bad (24 hours heavy rain), so the situation was bad and "special" for all (the staff and the guests). Because of the weather the WIFI was not working and the tap water was brown. So you couldn't do so much and cooking was a bit difficult as well. We asked at the receiption for help, but we had the feeling that the staff didn't really care and it was hard to explain something because nobody could speak English, although it is written in the description in booking. It is not possible to cook in the big and good kitchen and you have to go to the old, dirty and bad equipped one downstairs which is kind of outside, especially with this weather conditions it was not that nice. We were kind of angry because we felt a bit lost and than we complained about this points and explained again with a translator and than the woman obviously realised that it was not ok and then tried to fix the problem, which was at the end a nice reaction and made our stay a bit nicer. She gave us some filtered water and allowed us to use the good kitchen exceptionally. She also gave us a hotspot with her mobile phone and so we had some connection. The hostel is pretty expensive for what you get (compared to other places in Brazil and South America) so it should be normal to help the guests and fix problems. - The hostel is pretty outside, so the location is ok, but not really good - The breakfast room looks like the common area, but after the breakfast they kind of close this room, so you are not sure if you can stay there. The Argentinian family who stayed there as well also asked us if it is ok to use the tables - There were a lot of ants in the room, so don't let your food on the floor - No soap in the bathroom - The price/value is just pretty bad (to be fair all hostels on the island are pretty expensive), but compared to other places in Brazil and South America you get too less for what you pay for

Pousada espetacular, voltarei se tiver oportunidade

Super bem localizado, 10 mins do cais a pé e de quase todos os pontos do centro de Abraão. A dona super simpática e querida e os empregados também super prestáveis e atenciosos. Café da manhã que sabe a casa, muito bom (bolo de brigadeiro estava otimoooo)

A equipe é maravilhosa, sempre solícitos, então se algo precisa ser ajustado eles atendem prontamente, fiz algumas solicitações e me atenderam com bastante educação e prontidão. A Wanda que cuida da pousada, é uma mãezona. Vale a pena a caminhada pra chegar, pois a localização é ótima, no meio da natureza, vc toma café da manhã apreciando a natureza, tem muitos beija flor por lá. O café da manhã é maravilhoso também.

Boa estrutura, porém com falhas graves de comunicação

A infraestrutura da pousada é boa e os funcionários foram muito atenciosos conosco, especialmente o Carlitos e a senhora por preparar as refeições que sempre se mostraram solícitos e educados. Inclusive, deixamos uma gorjeta simbólica de R$50,00 como forma de agradecimento pelo atendimento deles, pois minha família e eu temos o hábito de reconhecer o bom serviço dos profissionais que nos atendem.

A comunicação com a pousada é muito ruim. Antes da viagem, tentamos entrar em contato pelos número e e-mail informados na página do Booking, mas não tivemos retorno. Tentamos ligar para os três números que aparecem online no Google, para o celular que foi cadastrado pela hospedagem mandamos mensagens pelo Booking também. Nada! Alem disso, a pousada não tem pagina no Instagram para comunicação com os clientes e de nemhum desses canais tivemos resposta. Só depois de já estarmos no local a responsável pela Pousada Mãe Natureza respondeu. A proprietária Vanda disse que chegou a ver minha mensagem e deixou para responder depois, porquevtinha chovido muito no dia anterior, mas não respondeu. Quando mencionei o número de celular, ela perguntou qual numero eu tinha ligado eandado todas inúmeras mensagens no WhatsApp, sendo que era justamente o próprio celular dela registrado na página oficial do Booking. Ela reconheceu que viu as mensagens. Estávamos tentando avisar que levaríamos um hóspede a mais. A reserva era para quatro pessoas, mas decidimos convidar outra pessoa. Foi cobrado um valor de cerca de 40% a mais sobre o total da estadia, o que, na prática, representou quase metade do valor pago pelas quatro pessoas. Mesmo assim, aceitamos, pois entendemos que era uma pessoa extra. Porém, não havia cama disponível, apenas um colchão com roupa de cama. Infelizmente, encontramos insetos na roupa de cama desse colchão. Chegamos a filmar os bichos se mexendo. Só depois de mostrarmos o vídeo a proprietária Vanda acreditou, pois inicialmente disse que isso nunca tinha acontecido. A pessoa extra pagou mais de R$1.500,00 para dormir em um colchão com lesmas, o que foi bastante desagradável. Outro ponto importante é a informação incorreta sobre a localização. No Google, consta que a pousada fica a cerca de 450 metros da praia, com uma leve subida. Isso não corresponde à realidade. Foi cadastrado errado. Da em outra pousada.

La mejor opción en Ilha Grande

Mi estancia de una semana en esta posada fue maravillosa. El lugar es muy lindo, rodeado de verde y alejado del ruido. Todo estaba muy limpio, los mas limpio que ví en mucho tiempo, tanto afuera como adentro de la habitaciones, incluso me cambiaron la toalla! El desayuno es espectacular, completo, delicioso y se nota que está hecho con amor (recomiendo el pan de queso). Pero lo mejor de todo fue la gente que trabaja ahí, Carlos, Roberta, las chicas de la cocina y limpieza, el chico de mantenimiento y Wanda, todos siempre fueron muy amables conmigo, interesados en ayudarme ai lo necesitaba, respondiendo con una sonrisa, y creando un ambiente muy agradable que me hizo sentir en casa. Gracias por todo, espero volver!

Estancia increíble

El entorno en el que se ubica la posada es muy tranquilo y rodeado de naturaleza. Es un lugar excelente para descansar y pasar una estadía realmente maravillosa. Wanda fue muy amable en todo momento, al igual que Neide. Además, en la posada estaban de apoyo Xiro y Carlos, quienes me hicieron sentir muy cómoda en los 13 días que estuve ahí. Ambas son personas maravillosas, sencillas y divertidas que estuvieron atentas en todo momento. Espero de todo corazón que cumplan todos sus proyectos personales ✨ Pd: estoy enormemente agradecida de haber coincidido con ustedes en este viaje y de la “reina pepiade” que me prepararon.

Excelente!

El alojamiento es muy cómodo y limpio, nos encantó que estuviera en medio de los árboles selváticos, al lado de un río, el sonido de la naturaleza se siente todo el tiempo, aun así se encuentra muy cerca del centro de Abraao, creo que a 7 minutos caminando. El desayuno muy rico, con jugos naturales, fruta y los pasteles, delicioso!. El personal es muy atento y encantador, pudimos compartir harto con Xiro y Carlos, los dos un amor de personas, hablan español también así que todo muy fácil y ameno. Quedamos muy contentas con nuestra estadía en Mae Natureza ☺️

Acogedora. Sin dudas volveria

Wanda es una excelente anfitriona. Siempre estuvo atenta a brindar orientación y comodidad en el hostel. El desayuno era completo, con opciones saladas y dulces. Además, de cortesía, sirven café y galletas durante toda la tarde post playa, lo que me pareció un lindo gesto. Por suerte tamb pude dejar mis cosas y hacer check out más tarde, aprovechando la tarde en la isla.

Quizás por momento se corta el agua, pero no es algo del lugar sino que afecta a toda la isla. Para esos momentos estaba habilitado otro baño que siempre tenía agua.

O café da manhã é ótimo, ovo mexido maravilhoso. Todas as funcionárias maravilhosas.

Passei a maior parte do tempo sem água no quarto e quando tinha água estava com cheiro ruim. Saia água barrenta da torneira. A limpeza do banheiro não é bem feita, o box parecia sujo. Eu sei que pode ser um problema da Ilha, mas eu nao recomendo ir em epoca de temporada, pq parece ser algo que acontece com recorrência. Escovei meus dentes com água mineral. O ar estava quebrado e nao tinha como regular a temperatura
