The property looked very clean and modern. The front desk staff was efficient and friendly. There was a large variety of breakfast options, and the food was good. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. This is a very nice hotel!

My favorite Holiday Inn Express I've ever stayed at. I live on the southern end of the state, but when work takes me to SLC, I always stay here. There are only two real complaints I have.
1.) The doors are very close together from room to room - and they're very noisy unless someone intentionally thinks to be respectful and close it quietly.
2.) If you're in a room close to the elevators, don't think of it as a great convenience - the doors do not do a very great job of obscuring sound. The "fun" of nearby clubgoers returning to their rooms carries on coming off the elevators. If you get offered a #10 or #00 room, ask for something more down the halls. Or ask for a middle floor (not the 4th or 9th+).
Other than that, all the staff were friendly - including housekeeping. IHG name, IHG quality.

Staff were friendly, breakfast filling, exercise room with free weights which was what I needed, could request no room cleaning, which I liked.
