Very beautiful old hotel with a railway theme. Classy, clean.
The hotel does not offer breakfast. You can however go next door to "Eggsburgh" which is a good breakfast restaurant, but a bit pricy. Staff there was wonderful (Halley!).

During the day all was fine. It was incredibly noisy at night, as I had a corner suite overlooking the busy intersection.
Additionally, the aircon ( very old system ) was very noisy and located in the bedroom. The lounge area next door did not have aircon ( exceptionally hot ).
The main entrance door to the room did not open normally.
When swiping the room key a green / red light appeared but the door did not open. After three visits to reception, the manager accompanied me to the room to assist. He then forcibly opened the door. The lock on the inside of the door was blocking the door from opening normally.

Antique field does not appeal to some people, but I happen to like it.

Great location
The biggest thing I didn’t like is I feel like Booking.com tricked me into paying a way higher rate. And I didn’t notice till I got to the hotel and they had rooms available for $108 a night, and through booking it was almost $250 a night!! More than double! I thought I could trust booking.com to find me the best rate.
