I liked that it was very unique in Italian style.
I am very picky about sleep so the bed was uncomfortable for me to sleep in, the mattress was worn out.

House was really clean when we arrived. Communication with the landlord was very smooth and easy to find.
Location of the house is not right in the center of Bellagio. We read in the comments that it is very short walk only, but it is around 30 minutes walking distance to the city and it is hard when it is hot outside. Bathroom really small and taking shower not very convenient. We also found the bed very harsh and were not able to sleep well. There is no AC in the house; only a fan, which is not enough.

There's the sightseeing "train" that stops right in San Giovanni, where this apartment is located. https://www.bellagiotravelguide.com/tourist-train/ The service costs 5€. It's way cheaper than a taxi but it's at the end of the route, bad for arriving, good for departing.
San Giovanni is a cute little village just outside of Bellagio, a 20 minute walk. There are sidewalks on MOST of the walk. There is a water taxi or small ferry supposedly in San Giovanni but I don't know the schedule and where it goes. I met my friends in Bellagio for dinner always so I walked.
The host had a bottle of prosecco and a couple of waters in the fridge, which was at a great cold temperature.
The apartment is VERY dated but still clean.
The biggest issue is the toilet was literally under the shower and the space was small. It worked well and had good flow but seemed to run out of hot water quicker than expected. I think it's a boiler too, so confused by that. If you forget to use the toilet before you shower or if someone your traveling with wants to use it, the floor and toilet will be soaked. Plan well.
The location to town was somewhat convenient to walk but if you want to find a taxi, good luck!

There were also some apartments or something that looked like people were living in them but the doors were always open and the rooms dark. That felt a little weird.
