Mati's Place thoroughly lived up to our expectations.

There was no breakfast included, but the host provided us with some great information which enhanced our enjoyment of our stay. A car helps to get to the hilly location though some people will have no problem. A day pass of 15 Euros is a must to travel on the ferry services to some beautiful place on Lake Como. Don't miss Varenna.

Very good for a couple of nights.

Very well located and calm place to stay a few days. (having/renting a car is almost mandatory if you want ti moce comfortable around the area) 100% recommend Bellagio to stay and move to the other villages from there.

Exceptional

Very clean apartment, spacious rooms, amazing view, modern bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, balcony. We particularly liked the location, far enough from the crowded Bellagio but still in walking distance (around 25 min). The host is very friendly and helpful, always quickly responded to our questions both before and during the stay. Highly recommended!

Excellent Stay.

We loved everything. We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 kids (5 and 7 years). The location is great, the hostess was very good, lived next door, everything was perfect for us. Would recommend 100%. The house was very spacious and clean. There were some kitchen supplies; coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oi, sunflower oil.. Exact things you don't want to buy when you go on self catering holiday. The kitchen was very clean. The rooms had amazing view of Bellagio. Beds were very very comfortable. Before we went, we read some reviews about dogs barking. It was not a problem for us , it was actually something we enjoyed :D (better then the sound of cars). The owners have 2 dogs, which are both lovely and our kids enjoyed playing with them! (Very friendly). So overall, we would definitely come back and recommend Mati's House to anyone.

Beautiful, comfortable spot if you're okay with some noise from the countryside animals

Beautiful views, close to San Giovanni beach, clean, big plus that there's laundry, host was very nice and helpful

Countryside comes with its share of animal noise, we had trouble sleeping the first night but it didn't seem a problem every night

Exceptional

we loved everything during our staying. the apartment is actually bigger than we needed as a couple. we loved the location - much better to stay there than in central Bellagio, especially if you want to drive around. everything was super clean and tidy, the kitchen is very well furnished, and we couldn't hear the animals when the windows were closed, and actually enjoyed hearing them when they were open.

not very relaxing really

the flat is clean and spacious and has nice view to the lake. the owner is friendly

the weather was very hot and there were no fans or ACs. there were no nets on the windows and whenever we open the windows many bugs and insect would get in. near the flat, there are farms that have lots of donkeys and dog and they keep barking all day and night long. we were not able to get any quality sleeping

the property was in a beautiful location overlooking lake Como. the lady of the house was very pleasant and helpful.

it was very hot, air condition or electric fans would be very good. we were close to farm and dog kennels which can get quite noisy at night. but you have to expect that been in the country side,

lake view from property is very beautiful. apartment is very spacious, very comfortable beds. Owners very kind.

Lovely apartment in a countryside house, bit far if you don't own a car

Lovely apartment with absolutely everything you need in it, very nice host, gorgeous surroundings, you can even hike in the woods if you want. Some people might be bothered by the sounds of animals nearby (donkeys, geese, hen, dogs, etc), however we love the countryside feeling it brings and we were always up when we heard them, windows have phonic isolation.

It's a bit far from the ferry station in Bellagio, you have to either walk 36 min (most uphill and on the car road), or take a bus that doesn't run that often and not after 19:00 either (costs 2.7 Eur pp and is usually crowded as it goes all the way to Como). Nearest supermarket is about 24 mins walk, and there's no restaurants nearby, you have to go downtown or half way down.

New, very clean with lovely view.

The place is fresh renovated, two big bedrooms (with big beds) comfortable bathroom, well equipped kitchen, parking in front of the door. What I liked the most is the communication with the host! What a kindness! Thank you once more for a lovely stay!
