Beautiful place, amazing host!

Sarah was absolutely amazing she went above and beyond, checking that we had everything, put lights and heating on for us arriving as we were arriving late. The drey was beautiful and smelt amazing! It was cosy and homely!

Perfect gem of a stay for exploring the western lakes, highly recommend!

Excellent location for exploring the western lakes and the coast path. Sarah has thought of everything you could need for self catering and relaxation. Perfect place to return to after a day in the hills.

Good amenities, well furnished & decorated, very cosy and great location for my needs to see someone locally with limited guest space so recommended it to them for future visitors. Nice deck overlooking outdoor green space. Excellent bathroom. Milk in fridge on arrival appreciated. Everything I needed.

Parking tight and had issues with door lock but hosts very communicative about latter. Smart TV app based so couldn’t locate any freeview channels.

Perfect place to stay to relax and explore the Lake District

Beautiful and peaceful location, exceptionally clean and cosy ...the perfect place to relax and explore/hike the scenic lakes. The host was helpful and responsive.

A car is needed to get around as the destination is remote, however this was to be expected and parking at the accommodation makes things easy.

The property is really comfortable and beautifully decorated and furnished. It is really well equipped. The bed and sofa are both really comfortable. It was perfect for a relaxing break.

Perfect Stay!

Everything! It was beautiful, cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was also close to so many gorgeous walks and things to see and do! Sarah was great, checking in and messaging to make sure all was well, but also gave us space and let us know she was there if we needed her. Absolutely fabulous stay ☺️

On the whole was nice

The layout was nice. It was lovely and clean with everything you needed.the barbecue area was good.shower was great.very comfy place. Would book again if a washer was available to use.

The view wasn't as good as it was made out to be. Grass area then bushes and trees. There couldv been a wash area for clothes. The bed was ok but it almost felt like 2single beds put together and the middle of it wasn't so comfy. Bit awkward to find.no sign that i could see.

We loved the clean, warm and cosy environment. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The attention to detail was outstanding. The location was perfect.

A wonderful property that we will definitely stay at again.

From check in to check out everything was perfect. We needed a base with a full kitchen, our grandson was karting nearby so we needed facilities to prepare picnic lunches etc and we could not have been happier with The Drey, it was a real little home from home with everything that we needed. The property has been finished to a very high standard, all in all we could not have asked for anything better.

It was a newly built and beautifully decorated property at a very relaxing and quiet spot.

Worth for money and amazing stay

The property was clean and had everything what we needed. Utensils, hob, oven, microwave to cook. TV in living room and one in bedroom. The wall in shower was amazing. Smart electric heater in all the rooms. We took what we needed during the stay but the property had everything including milk, coffee pods,hot chocolate pods and coffee machine. It’s a brand new property so everything in the property was new. Very pleased with the stay. Instavolt EV rapid charger and shopping centre is 15 mins away. You can reach pretty much all the place from here with ease. The price was very cheap compared to other listed properties.
