Bluewater sanctuary

The location is amazing… the ability to fish and swim out of your back door is amazing.

The beds were not at all comfortable. Way too hard… the option of a mattress topper should be available. Not everyone is used to sleeping on such a firm mattress. The aircon did not work in the bedroom downstairs.

Absolutely stunning pool and outdoor area, with gorgeous views of the water. Everything we needed in the kitchen for dinner, plenty of spaces in the house for a group. The photos definitely don’t do the place justice. It does feel quite empty, but it’s very large and has the basics (beds, couches, etc), plus two tv areas and a big deck upstairs in addition to the pool and patio area on the ground floor. The beds are quite hard - didn’t bother us, but I suppose it could be an issue for some people.

Having to message the host to get the spa turned on was odd and a bit of a hassle, would have been nice to have the controls available at the house. For the price, would have been nice to have had the outdoor area cleaned a bit more before we arrived - there were lots of spiderwebs, and we had to clear a number of leaves and such from the pool.
