Great staff, clean and spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, a relaxing atmosphere

We travelled from the Netherlands and we stayed 11 days in August 2025 with our family of four (two kids, ages 7 and 12) and had a wonderfully relaxing vacation. Staff, Car rental, Visits: The staff is truly incredible – from the front desk to breakfast service and housekeeping, everyone was so kind and attentive. Special thanks to Irine at the front desk for the amazing care, and also to Harris, the owner, who helped us arrange a rental car for two days. We paid €130 in total (longer rentals are even cheaper), with no deposit required, and only had to return the car with a same tank as how we received it. The car (a Hyundai i10) was conveniently delivered to the hotel. With it, we explored Possidi Beach (not crowded and so beautiful), the charming town of Afytos (amazing view), and Thessaloniki with its beautiful architecture – all definitely worth visiting! Room: We stayed in the Premium Suite, which has both a large balcony at the back and another at the front. The suite has two rooms, each with its own refrigerator and freezer – perfect for keeping ice cream cold. The air conditioning kept the rooms very cool, and everything felt brand new. Fresh towels were provided every day, and the rooms were always spotless. Also, the kids could walk from our front door straight to the pool! Excellent! Tourism: We specifically wanted a vacation without many (Dutch) tourists, and we only saw/overheared maybe three other Dutch people the entire stay. Pool & Beach: The kids loved the swimming pool, which they often had all to themselves, and the beach was just a short walk away. We always managed to get the same spot at the beach, which shows how uncrowded it was. Around 5 pm it became even quieter. We brought our own umbrella and beach supplies so we didn’t need to rent sunbeds from the beach bars. The beach also has a floating waterpark for children! Food: Breakfast was excellent, with a special treat almost every day.

The hotel is very cosy, clean and modern. The staff was very kind, helpful, always smiling.

The pillows are a bit soft for my taste and the mini fridge is very noisy, that's if I had to write something :) too small things for what it offers otherwise

Friendly staff, very nice ambience, comfortable and clean!

The receptionist recognized us as soon as we walked through the entrance door. He offered us a welcome drink and escorted us to our suite. He showed us around and provided us with all the information we needed. The room was spotless; complementary water, a vanity set, and everything needed were waiting for us in the room. The bed was very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was silent. Breakfast was partly served, and partly there was a buffet. Again, the service and choices were excellent! I would book this accommodation facility again and again without hesitation.

We only stayed one night to overcome the jet lag, but we refueled our energy to the fullest, and if we ever come back, we will definitely stay at Sandy Suites!

Wonderful stay!

The location is great-very near to the beach and for a night walk in the city. The room was very comfortable with spacious balcony. Everything was new. The pool area, where the breakfast also was, is cosy and wonderfully arranged. The staff could not be more polite!

Es war alles tadellos. Wirklich hervorragend. Einer der besten Hotels in dem wir je gewesen sind. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und wurden auch jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt, gesäubert und aufgeräumt. Es gab jeden Tag neue und frische Handtücher. Der Platz war für 4 Personen absolut ausreichend (nur für die Koffer war etwas zu wenig Platz). Der Pool ist mit 0,80m nicht wirklich tief, aber für eine Abkühlung im Sommer absolut ausreichend. Am Pool sind 6 Liegen und einige Stühle. Hierfür gibt es einen Sonnenschirm, hier wäre es gut, wenn es noch einen weiteren geben würde, da es in der Mittagssonne schon sehr heiß wird und die Sonne sehr intensiv darauf scheint. Das Frühstück wird jeden Tag serviert, man bekommt einen Brotkorb mit verschiedensten Aufstrichen, eine Platte mit Feta, Käse, Wurst,…. Zudem kann man sich am Büffet an Obst, Säften, Müsli, Kaffee,…bedienen. Geschmacklich ausgezeichnet. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch sehr günstig am Anfang einer Strandpromenade (150 Meter Entfernung) und ideal zum Meer gelegen (100Meter). Ein Supermarkt befindet sich auch in der Nähe (5 Minuten Fußmarsch) und im Umkreis befinden sich viele Restaurants. Das Personal im Hotel war unglaublich. Sowohl Dimitra, Panos, Sokrates, Ianis, sowie der Manager Harris (+alle anderen Mitarbeiter) geben einem ein sehr familiäres Gefühl, man konnte jederzeit mit ihnen ins Gespräch kommen, um Tipps für Restaurants oder Unternehmungen zu bekommen. Auch kann man sich vorallem mit dem Barkeeper Sokrates und Ianis sehr gut über auch private Themen abends bei einem gemütlichen Cocktail am Abend unterhalten. Harris hat uns am zweiten Tag, nach einem etwas längeren Abend am Vortag mit ein paar Schnäpsen an der Bar, ein kleines Geschenk mit 2 kleinen Ouzo-Flaschen gemacht. Das hat uns wirklich sehr positiv überrascht.

Apartmán pro dva páry byl skvěle rozdělen, krásné zařízení, čistota, blízkost k pláži, usměvavý personál.

Ze snídaní máme všichni 4 rozporuplný pocit - pro 4 dospělé lidi dávali stejně velikou porci příloh k pečivu, tj. uzeniny, sýry, zeleninu, jako u jiných stolů dvěma dospělým. Nevím, jestli to bylo kvůli tomu, že jsme bydleli v jednom apartmánu nebo proto, že jsme si sedali ke stolu pro 4 osoby. Na druhou stranu na požádání připravila kuchyně navíc smažená vajíčka nebo hemenex. A servírované jídlo bylo chutné. I tak v nás zůstal divný pocit. Foto snídaně pro 4 dospělé osoby přikládám.

Super freundlicher Empfang mit Begleitung zum Zimmer. Absolut neues Hotel, Zimmer (unseres) hatte zum Bett noch ein großes Sofa und einen Schreibtisch. Kühlschrank auch vorhanden. Super angenehme indirekte Beleuchtung. Badezimmer top sauber und durch Glas abgetrennte Dusche. Großer Balkon mit Schiebetüren und Mückenschutzgitter (ebenfalls Schiebetüren). Angenehmes und modernes Design. Pool hatten wir nicht genutzt. Bei uns war die Rezeption 24h besetzt. Frühstück über Buffet wie auch gleichzeitig am Tisch. Süßes, herzhaftes, verschiedener Käse, unterschiedliche Wurst, frisches Obst, Joghurt, Marmelade, Honig, etc.. Das Team ist ein gut funktionierendes und hat bei uns harmoniert. Sehr freundlicher "Manager/Besitzer" der gute Tipps für Thessaloniki für uns hatte. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Dankeschön

Genomgående strålande vistelse.

Vi bokade rum comfort med havsutsikt och hänfördes av den service vi möttes av under hela vistelsen. Allt var bra men personalen var bäst, speciellt vb Rena som var trevlig och tillmötesgående på ett naturligt sätt. Hotellet är fräscht och mycket rent, rimliga rum och modern inredning, väldigt fina kroppsvårdsprodukter med ingredienser av naturligt urspung, älskade dem. Sköna sängar med krispiga lakan. Lugn och mysig miljö trots närheten till stranden och restaurangsområdet. Fin frukost även om det inte är buffé med god mat och vegetariska alternativ.

Saknade havregryn eller müsli till frukost men det kanske är inte så vanligt för en frukost i Grekland 😊.

Der Kaffee beim Frühstück am ersten Tag war nur lauwarm. Frühstück ist nicht in Buffet-Form, sondern man kriegt Teller mit allem möglichen. Für mich viel zu viel... ist fast eine Verschwendung. Aber supernett das Personal und flexibel.
