The hotel was excellent in every way.

I really liked the abundant breakfast with different special items each day, as well as the spacious rooms equipped with a fridge, tea/coffee facilities, and Netflix on the TV. Parking was on the street, but in September it was very easy to find, just watch out for one-way roads.

The two of us were in a room for three persons (we had double bed and sofa on the side). The hotel is almost newly built, everything is super clean, the room is nice and cosy with everything you need (even proper eating table, two chairs, closet for clothes, kettle and few complementary tea bags, mini fridge). I also liked that rooms had a terrace, mosquito net (on one door) and full blackout curtains which really helped with keeping the sunlight in the morning out. No bad smells in the bathroom and the bathroom had a proper glass cabin shower. The breakfast was fine, every day the same except but for few days it is ok. I liked the eggs, Greek yoghurt and the sweets which were different every day and very tasty. The staff is hospitable but not overly, except one lady which we believe was the owner. Overall it would be fair to say that it deserves 3 stars.

The room is a bit crowded and for three people would be too small but since we were two it was good. The toiletries are minimal but it is ok considering the hotel is a 2 star. What really ruined our stay was the fact that our air condition was turned off (by someone) while we were out even though we left the room card in the room in the socket. When we get back to the room it would be extremely hot and for most nights we could not sleep because of heat. We believe that someone must kept turning off the aircon while we were away, because it was working fine when we leave. This made our sleeping almost impossible as the room is very hot and we usually came back late in the evening and we didn’t have the time to cool the room off. We didn’t mention this as we already had to ask for some other things (additional covers, then the cleaning lady the next day takes these covers so we had to ask again, the day after we come back and find just one cover so we had to ask again etc) and we were tired of asking for things. We also thought that asking about aircon would not change anything as this was obviously done on purpose. If it wasn’t for this I would grade higher.

A fantastic Hotel to stay at in Nea Moudania!

The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff incredible! The included breakfast was solid, we enjoyed it pretty much every morning :)

I wish the AC would work more consistently. It would always turn itself off after 2 hours. There is some limescale here and there, that should be sorted out.

Everything (modern and large room, very good and tasty breakfast, very nice staff, especially Theodora, the symbol of Sokratis hotel 🥰, good location for walking in the city center and also for the sea side, a very good quality/price ratio).

Just a clean hotel, no other positive thing I can say. Neighborhood is bad,not feel safe,very noisy

it was clean. Breakfast was okey but no cafee at first day.

The lady working at front desk is not so nice, she was rude and I think she does not like Turkish people we feel that. At the first moment, we did not feel like we are on vacation due to that lady's behaviors to us. The hotel is on the street and first day there was a wedding party at the school cross the street and it ends around 1 am and all the noise was in the room. It is not a cheap hotel you can find much better ones at that price. No parking spot on street if you come after 10 p.m. All I can say is that it was clean but other than this it is lower than average hotel. In the 7 am a track came with high noise and we woke up and did not sleep again. You did not feel you are at vacation.

Lovely hotel

Excellent service with a smile. Help us with what we ask or need and gave Us recommendations on local restaurant and places to go around. very good breakfast. The room was new and clean. Quiet location, 8 minutes walk from the city center. Free public parking near the hotel. Value for money.

Wonderful stay at Sokratis Hotel

- We had a wonderful time in Greece staying at Sokratis hotel. It is a cozy and exceptionally clean hotel which is close to the beach and also not too far from city center. - Our room was comfortable and very very clean. - I loved the fact that the mattresses and pillows were quite comfortable so we managed to relax well after the long day at the beach. - Even though the hotel was full of guests, our room was quiet which is great because I am a light sleeper. - The breakfast is rich and they make sure to spice it up every day with different tasty Greek dishes. - Our host was super kind and she made us feel at home with her hospitality and warm smile. She recommended interesting beaches to visit.

Excellent breakfast, every day we got a sweet as a present. Very friendly and helpful staff that answers all your questions. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed daily. Highly recommend this place to everyone! The beach is 10 minutes walk.

Excellent stay

The hostess Theodora was very kind and hospitable. She gave us valuable information about our tours. Due to her efforts, we were upgraded to a better room, which was spacious, trendy and comfy. I have no words to describe the breakfast / incredible/. Very wide choice and everything was homemade and tasty. I will be back for sure.

The hostess, Theodora, is friendly and welcoming. We had a little complex arrangement, but Theodora helped us with that. She has given us some tips about the surrounding areas and places to go. The rooms are cleaned every day, the towels are changed every day. Sokrates hotel is one of the very few hotels I have stayed that is so clean. The room was spacious and bright. The breakfast was for all the tastes. From savoury to sweet, everything was fresh. Once more for sure, one of the best breakfast in a hotel I have ever had. The hotel itself was spotless clean! Everything is within a walkable distance of about 5 minutes from super/mini markets, taverns, pattisserie, bakery to the village centre and the beach.

Wonderful staff

The staff is very kind and attentive. We were welcomed with home made cake and refreshments. Also, when leaving, they gave us snacks (pizza, sandwiches, sweets) for the long road. The hotel is 400 meters from the nice golden sandy beach. Free parking was easy to find next to the hotel.

The stairs from the entrance are a little bit slippery.

Everything was perfect at this hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and very modern. The staff cleaned our room every day and changed the towels every day even though we stayed for 3 nights. The air conditioning was perfect! I am so thankful to Theodora who welcomed us so warm and was so kind and helpful. She made me feel like I am at my mothers home! We checked in at the afternoon and were so tired she served coffee refreshments toast and pancakes and she didn’t want to take even a cent for this. The breakfast is incredible and full of homemade food. The whole experience at that place made me feel I want to go there again. Me, my husband and our 3 year child haven’ t been to a hotel with such friendly staff and nice atmosphere!

Can't recommend it enough.Don't think we have been at a nicer Hotel . Lovely, lovely staff, amazing room and wonderful breakfast. Sokratis Hotel is absolutely spotless clean, has a very tasteful interior. The staff went every extra mile to spoil us with little treats and made sure that we had the best time.
