Wonderful home away from home.

This was a lovely home away from home. The whole family loved the space and it was really welcoming and the welcome gift was a nice touch. The house is set out well with 2 living spaces, a sunny comfortable balcony deck, a completely enclosed back deck to hang washing. The bathrooms are great for families with a bath and shower in one and a shower in the other and two toilets. Hosts are lovely and communicative. Took photos of items we had inadvertently left behind and have arranged to courier them to me.

Maybe just one more dishwasher tablet would have been great as we were there for 4 days! But that is being super nitpicking because it really is a great place to stay.

Comfortable house

Comfortable house close to shops and public transport and family we were visiting.

We thought the beddings could be more adequately provided with duvet covers rather than sheets which could leave the duvets exposed at times! However that was addressed early during our stay when we message the owner so not a major issue. Also the crockery were a bit flimsy and plasticky. We thought a proper china dinner set and mugs would be a good compliment to the good sized kitchen. A bedside reading lamp and a chair in each bedroom would also add to the ease and comfort too.

Just what we needed for a two night stay

Westgate mall/supermarkets and Costco was very close. The house was perfect for the family we were on our own levels. The neighbours were nice and very helpful if we had any questions. Terrie was accommodating when we needed to add.another person staying in the house. Very tidy house

The parking isn’t good if you have two vehicles there is yellow broken lines on both sides so unable to park on the roadside(park at your own risk). Parked vehicle on the opposite side for a couple of hours through the night, saw neighbour came out and looked like he took a photo of our vehicle. But next morning discovered our tyre valve was tampered.(flat tire in the morning). Mattress in cot was very thin so unable to uses

It’s not that we didn’t like the property but Didn’t realise it was 3 stories and was quite difficult for the elderly in our group trying to get up and down stairs.

Home far away from home

I was travelling with family and spent the last three nights at the end of our holidays in NZ at Jam's Place before heading back to our home country. We enjoyed everything about the place. It was clean and tidy with a nice kitchen and very comfy beds. Exactly what we needed after our camping vacation to sort our things out. The place is located in the north of Auckland with some nice nature parks nearby. We did a few walks at Waitakere Rangers Regional Park and Shakespear Regional Park - both about 30 minutes' drive away. The outlet mall with a huge supermarket is 10 minutes away by foot.

If you are looking for a place near the city center of Auckland, then this might be not it.

Great place to stay.

The property is fairly new and was exceptionally clean. It's great to have a supermarket and dining options so close by as well. We had one minor problem, and Garrie was in contact with us in minutes. So you could never fault the owner. Loved our stay and would happily stay again.
