So close to everything which is ideal.

It was like being home. Lovely decorated and rooms clean and tidy. It was so close to everything so you could walk to all the places you wanted to go and leave the car. Dogs had a great time 😃

The sofa was really uncomfortable and not big enough for 5 people. When there are 5 adults you don’t have enough seats. If the property is for 6 then there should be 6 seats. A corner sofa would be ideal . Parking wasn’t the best it is in the street and very tight.

A real gem

Decor was superb, great attention to detail. Felt like home from home. Location was very near places of interest, many within walking distance and a short drive away for others. Owners always replied expeditiously to any queries we had...places to eat recommendations spot on

Toilet flushing pressure doesn't have powerful enough plumbing. Needs more than one flush. Would also be nice to have been met by owner too. Not really a negative but extra personal would be nice.

Lovely house clean but dodge the neighbours

The house was in a great location, easy walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. It was clean and was surprisingly spacious for a mid terrace. The ground floor bathroom was a bit of an issue and if we were staying for longer than 3 nights would have more of a problem.

Honestly the nosey neighbour, who came out with not a greeting but a telling off regarding holiday makers and the horror of them parking on the street made the stay uncomfortable and actually dreaded the next meeting with them to receive yet another telling off! We even got scolded about the name of the property and the fact we’d called it penny cottage! For a short stay we would have probably booked there again but due to the 20 minute finger wagging telling off by said neighbours I don’t think we would!

only problem was getting the key out of lock once you opened door . but other than that had areally great stay

We really enjoyed our stay and penny cottage was in a good location very close to family, the beach, town & harbour.

The cottage was very spacious & clean. Loved having a dishwasher & washer dyer so it was like from home to home.

No bathroom/toilet upstairs

Very pleasant and well equipped.

Very clean. Well equipped. Door closers were maddening and made getting in and out of the rooms difficult, especially when carrying drinks. One of our party fell down the step into the third bedroom and twisted their ankle. It needs a warning sign.

OK, but won't be back

The road is a bit of a nightmare to park in, the sofa is very uncomfortable, the whole front room has waiting room air about it. I couldn't find the light switch for the kitchen area in the dark. Needs a "mind the step" warning on the door for the back bedroom . No explanation as to what rubbish goes in what bin. The neighbours stopped us to ask if we were the owners as often people use their bins to put rubbish in as it's not clear that the bins are out the back.

5 min walk to the beach - great location. This house is modern and clean, it’s easy to check in/check out. Good space for families. The terrace at the back has table and chairs so we have enjoyed alfresco meals a couple of times. We’ve had a nice stay and will be coming back again.
