New York Suite Upper East Side Manhattan

Apartment was comfortable and very well equipped. Actually, it had the best cutlery I've seen in an apartment for rental so far. Oven, microwave, washing machine, dryer, dish washer... all great. Location was not what we expected, but was decent and quite close to subways.

Address in booking listing is not the real one. It's higher up, in the Latin Harlem hood, which we didn't expect. It wasn't bad, but definitely weird to be send to another address. It's a good thing I had read this in a previous comments. There AC is not properly sealed to there is a cold draft coming in the living room constantly. We had the curtains lowered all time to try to minimize the cold coming in. One of the beds did NOT have clean sheets when we arrived. Around the fourth day there was no hot water at all in the apartment. We contact the hosts and the said it was "intermitent". It should be listed as "Intermitent hot water" then. Luckily it was only 1 day out of 11. There was a leak under the door of one of the rooms. One night the dripping was so bad it woke us up. We had to throw some towels on the floor to stop the noise. We had big towels to shower, but some regular towels to dry our hands or hair would be convenient.

The property is located within easy reach of everything we wanted to do and several subway stations. We also easily found close on street parking which saved having to pay for a parking garage. The apartment is small, but typical for New York, but it had everything we needed and was comfortable and cozy.

One of the expanding sides of the air conditioner has been broken, so there was a hole letting in all the cold air and noise from outside. Also the main building security door was broken and so the entrance key was useless.

Die Angabe der Adresse war bewusst falsch. Das hat uns große Probleme gebracht. Und erst in letzter Minute bekamen wir dann die richtige Adresse und mussten unsere Koffer und Jetlags durch die Gegend schleifen. Sehr ärgerlich! Und hätten uns nicht 4 deutsche junge Männer geholfen, die dasselbe erlebt haben, hätten wir die Schlüssel nicht gefunden. In einem verrosteten Fahrradschloss an einem verdreckten alten Fahrradständer angekettet. Die Lage der Wohnung war an einer sehr lauten Straße, die die ganze Nacht über mehr als belebt ist.
