La situación. Cerca de los principales museos. Y el barrio es muy cómodo. Con servicios ( supermercado, restaurantes, lavandería,…)

El baño. Necesita una remodelación. Hay humedades y los sanitarios viejos.

The service was fantastic. Picking up and returning the keys was easy enough. The pick-up address was just across one avenue. Also, we had a problem with the faucet at the kitchen sink. A plumber came and fixed it the very day. Very responsive staff via WhatsApp and the owner himself was included in the chat too. The apartment was quite sweet and had a friendly atmosphere. It was sufficiently big for a family of three. It was well-equipped and clean. It had air-conditioning and fans in all rooms. And then, the main selling-point: It is called prime location and that's exactly what you get. The Upper East Side has a fantastic vibe to it, with many cafés, restaurants and shops just around the corner. The street is quiet but you can taste the typical New York busy-ness in the adjacent avenues. The metro is just one block further up and you can reach Central Park on foot in 20 minutes.

This house is over a hundred years old. So not everything is up to standard anymore. The bathroom definitely needs a do-over. A very shallow toilet basin, no hooks to hang clothes or your towel on etc. Fan or conditioning is not very strong, so it gets very hot and wet inside, especially in summer. And then the living room/ kitchen area is enclosed by the bedrooms and has, just like the smaller bedroom at the back (the friendly front bedroom faces the street and has a lot of natural light), only a very small window to a narrow light-well. So, if the door to the front bedroom is closed, there is hardly any natural light in the living room. Overall the price is compatible but regarding the bathroom (which was not dirty), it might have been a bit too high.

Un petit rafraîchissement de l'appartement serait bien

Incredible location in a very nice and friendly upper east side area. Subway is super close, lots of restaurants, groceries and more. The apartment is great with 2 full bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. Hosts were amazing, always in contact. We loved it!
