The Carl Shurz Park is just .2 miles (about 350 m) from the apartment, and borders the East River Esplanade, which a great place for joggers or for enjoying the view onto Queens and Brooklyn. Of course, the Upper East Side is known for it's famous 'Museum Mile' on 5th Avenue, and indeed the Metropolitan Museum of Art if just .7 miles (approx 1.2 km) from this apartment (as is Central Park!).
