Cozy home with hot tub near airport

La maison était d'une propreté exceptionnelle! Nous avons bcp aimé le spa et toutes les commodités de la maison.

Nous n'avons pas compris où allait le recyclage. Peut-être mettre des indications pour le poêle à bois :)

- Great layout - Good cutlery for cooking - Awesome Hot-tub - Scenic deck with lot of seating area - Gaming zone PS4 for kids - Piano - kids kept engaging themselves in music

- Washrooms can be better. Only one standing shower and it was small. Need to have at least 2 good bath areas. Basement standing shower could be made bigger and upper floor jacuzzi could be converted to bathtub.

Clean and bright house. Beds were comfortable.

Doesn’t have central air conditioning - one small window unit for the lower floor and one wheel-in unit for the upper floor that was ducted to some plexiglass put into a window. Bedrooms were quite hot (but much of that was caused by the heat wave during our visit). Kitchen was small. Stovetop had two burners and no functioning hood/vent. Only one skillet was usable, two others’ nonstick coating had long since flaked off, were dented, and badly warped. Shower is very small - about 24”x24”. There is only one, and is on the lower floor. House is directly in the flight path of the Quebec main airport; flights pass overhead about every 5-10 minutes all day long.

Place is clean in a tranquile neighborhood. 20 mins drive away from the old Quebec city. We were provided wiith everything we needed for the trip (except spare toilet rolls but that was not a big issue). Daphnee and Pierre were very kind to provide suggestions of what to visit in Quebec city and where to dine. We tried two of those and were very impressed. We were very happy with our stay.

Close distance to airport did mean occassional (about 3 a day?) but managable noise from flights, but the upside is the convenience when leaving the city.
