The location was nice and central.

Mariaan was absolutely wonderful and extremely accommodating. The braai facility and self catering option was a necessity for us due to length of stay. Rooms were well laid out with lovely linen and bathroom/shower. The walk-in wardrobe being most welcoming due to a weeks stay as a couple - definitely made a difference in space and not crammed when trying to get ready for the day. Nice to have the use of kitchen and fridge as required for breakfasts, quick lunch or to prep a light supper. We used the communal lounge and dining space quite a bit during our stay with a lovely fire to warm up whilst having our dinner. Traveled as 2 x couples.

The braai pit facility was directly outside another guest room which made for having to whisper and then being advised that the guest required silence due to being on a team call at 19h00. A very low whisper travels between the side by side rooms unfortunately. Long mirrors within rooms would be awesome for getting ready. Braai containers for meat but Mariaan did give us a pot to use whilst there and the dishwasher was broken and not in use during our stay.

Marianne was an amazing host and helpful. The rooms were modern; clean; neat and the Guest House was ideal and very close to St Annes School.

Recommendations - The bathrooms could do with more storage as a suggestion. Second bathroom had no hot water. Also there should be coffee and tea; milk in the bedrooms and a long mirror would be suggested.

Room was very small. Bed was very small.
