Breath of Garda

Some places look great in pictures but Breath of Garda is even better in reality. The name couldn't be more fitting. From the very first breath inside the lovely scent makes you feel like you're on holiday. High ceilings, beautiful parquet floors, tasteful furniture and a wonderful atmosphere. Everything feels high-quality, carefully chosen and very well maintained. Spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Plenty of lovely seating areas, even a rainy day indoors is no problem. The kitchen is very well equipped for proper cooking, the bathrooms are spacious and even the sofa bed is surprisingly comfortable, almost like a proper box-spring bed. Several beautiful terraces, one with fantastic view and another with absolutely breathtaking view. Almost impossible to choose between them. The underground garage is another big plus. Convenient and generously sized, although parking could become difficult for vehicles longer than around 4.7 m (15 ft 5 in). Worth checking in advance for larger cars. Plenty of room to manoeuvre with a wheelchair, including in the bathroom and shower. The layout is genuinely practical and clearly designed with accessibility in mind. Not something you find everywhere. And then there is the hospitality, which really deserves special mention. Antonella was exceptionally warm and welcoming at check-in, took plenty of time to explain everything and made the whole arrival feel personal and effortless. Communication with Antonella and Andrea was excellent from start to finish. They even proactively shared information about a local athletics event that could affect arrival and helped with the free Guest Card via Mio Trentino, giving access to numerous attractions at no extra cost, including the highly recommended lift to the Bastione. Always attentive, proactive and genuinely caring. Exactly the kind of hospitality that makes a place stand out. A rare place where everything simply comes together. Nothing negative to report, just a practical accessibility note: The terraces are not step-free for wheelchair users. The thresholds are fairly high, so getting a wheelchair in and out requires some physical assistance or a suitable portable ramp. Worth knowing in advance, especially if independent wheelchair access is essential.

Fünf Sterne – und das aus voller Überzeugung! Wir haben ein paar unvergessliche Tage in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft verbracht und sind rundum begeistert. Antonella und Andrea sind außergewöhnlich herzliche Gastgeber – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gepflegt und hat wirklich an nichts fehlen lassen. Alles war zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Dazu die traumhafte Lage in Riva del Garda – schöner geht es kaum. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!
