Ortigia Inner Suites

Breakfast was not part of this accommodation, although the kitchen was set to provide your own. The location was pretty much in the heart of Ortigia and there were a lot of dining facilities as well as food supply stores. Ortigia is a small part of Siracusa and we found many charming side streets to explore. A walk around the perimeter of the Island takes about an hour.

The self check in did not work smoothly. If you are not tech savvy, then you'l struggle. Or if your phone was out of charge, you'll struggle. Once we managed to get a door code, entry was easy. There was zero personal contact with owners/managers You were also required to pay your city taxes on-line so again You need to rely on technology. We were unable to complete the form and the bot told us we were missing a vat number and therefore could not pay our city taxes. Finally found someone locally who helped us complete the form. A lot of holiday time spent on this.NOT COOL.
