La casa è un po’ umida

L'emplacement était parfait, il suffisait de descendre la rue pour être au bord de mer, le bus à deux pas. L'île d'Ortigia est la partie la plus agréable de Syracuse. L'hébergement était bien équipé. Une bouteille de spritz avait été mise dans le réfrigérateur pour notre arrivée, ce qui était agréable.

Nous avons découvert dans l'hébergement un escalier très raide pour accéder à une chambre très basse de plafond (pas pour une personne dépassant 1,80m). Une personne à mobilité réduite n'aurait pas pu accéder à la chambre. Sur les photos sur le site de Booking, cet escalier n'apparaissait pas. Pas sécurisé pour un enfant en bas âge. L'hébergement était un ancien magasin qui a été rénové pour accueillir des touristes. Cet hébergement était particulièrement humide. Il a fallu envoyer 3 messages avant que la propriétaire nous indique l'emplacement de la machine à laver. Le linge a mis longtemps à sécher à cause de l'humidité alors qu'il faisait 40 degrés à l'extérieur. La rue pouvait être bruyante le soir. Trop de déco.

L'apartament està ben equipat i és molts acollidor. El tracte amb els propietaris ha estat escel·lent. Molt recomanable!!

La cuina és una mica petita.

The apartment is very centrally located in the island of Ortigia. It is very big with a lot of space, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a private parking nearby with 1,5 euros per hour.

1. The apartment was not very clean, with a lot of dust. 2. The lights electronic system is very peculiar, by switching off the lights in one room, the lights of the other room turned on. We did not figure out how to use this properly. 3. There was no hand wash and shower gel. 4. Last but not least, the communication with the host. They could not inform us on where to park in advance but only when we would text that we are approaching the island, while driving. Also, they did not send us instructions on how to check in, instead when we informed them that we are outside the apartment they called us and started giving instructions for check in verbally, through translation from Italian to English, from one person to another. It was very difficult to communicate and not comfortable at all, since we had luggage on hands and there were stairs and we had also to try to speak on the phone. We realised at the same time that they were very close and therefore we did not understand why they did not show up to greet us or help us or at least send the instructions beforehand.
