The property itself if beautiful! Great river view and in a quiet area. There are a lot of stairs and no elevator as it’s a top floor apartment but this wasn’t a problem for us. The location is great for those who are able and happy to walk during their visit. It took 15 minutes or so to walk to the more touristy centre of the city. You’re also 10/15 minutes walk from the beautiful cathedral. The only time we didn’t walk was when we went to visit Belém, we instead used Lime bikes/scooters and the tram. So it’s a great spot to be out of the hustle and bustle, but close enough that you’re not spending loads of money on transport! Lots of crockery, comfy bed and sofa. Nothing to complain about at all! We also got an early check in. Thanks for making us feel welcome :)

Clean spacious apartment with character and a homey feel. Comfortable bed, good selection of pillows. Well equipped kitchen including washing machine. Building is old and it shows especially in the entry and stairwell which are not kept clean, and the front door which needs a facelift, but these areas are communal and not direct responsibility of TTL. Reasonably quiet, good value for money. Nice view of the cruise ship harbour out front and lovely view out the back side also. Great restaurants in Alfama within a few minutes walk, and only about 20 min walk to the Chiado area. TTL staff were all excellent and went over and above to help us recover an article that we forgot in the suite.

Stairwell and entry not kept clean, some landings are a bit cluttered with shoes belonging to the long term residents. Apartment was cold and had a slight musty odour on arrival however once the space heaters warmed the rooms, all was good. We were there for a week, and never noticed the odour again.
