Chester City Centre Town House

We loved the location of the house, just off the main pedestrian street but was extremely quiet once of the main street. Perfect to get to the museums, a short walk to the river and access to the walls.

Whilst the house was well equipped and a great location we felt that perhaps an improvement to staying might be mattresses on both beds. The font bedroom had a couple of springs poke through when you moved which made it difficult to get a good sleep and the back bedroom bed squeaked evertime either person moved or got in or out of bed. Ideally less marshmallow pillows for those who prefer a firmer one would also help give a good sleep. The house is well decorated and we loved the shower.

This property was inviting from the minute we saw it. Location was perfect. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.

The property was very warm (but the weather has been exceptional) so maybe a fan would be good to have. However, after getting to know the area, we felt secure enough to sleep with the windows open.

nothing to dislike

The property was in a very central location. Close to everything. The house was very nicely furnished and equipped well. Loved the Pac-Man arcade machine. Was left a bottle of Prosecco which was lovely.

Not great for parking. There was a close car park but always full. My husband had to drive around Chester for an hour to find a 24 hour car park and ended up leaving it at the racecourse. We was disappointed our early request to enter the property wasn’t possible as the cleaners was still there. We lost a whole day of our trip to Chester as the check in is 15:00 and then with the parking issue. The house was generally clean but very dusty. A lot of curly hairs left in the bathroom. Towels smelt clean but very stained. We didn’t sleep well. The bed was very uncomfortable and bedding not very good quality. With being close to city centre and it being a weekend you can here lots of drunk people at night. It didn’t bother us but if your a light sleeper it would.
