The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was excellent, within walking distance of Plaka, the Acropolis, restaurants, and public transport. The host was friendly, responsive, and provided excellent recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back.

It is self catering, which is not a problem - shops close-by. The position of the place is ideal to visiting the old town and very close to all the places Athens is known for.
The matrasses in the beds - both bedrooms - are totally inferior. The springs of the mattras are a constant pain to the body. Really, pay attention to this. The bathroom is a challenge on its own. All four of us prefer a shower over a bath but there is no facility to take a shower apart from a handheld shower rose, balancing in a tub. A single bathroom for 4 people also is not ideal.
