Casey's Lake View House Boat

Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich und der Empfang, als wir ankamen war sehr angenehm und freundlich.

The host Casey was very jolly and funny guy, giving great tips and guidelines on how to live on his house boat. He was always available and ready to help if help was needed. The whole boat experience was truly an experience, and I didn't mind the sounds of waves and the whole boat rocking a bit - actually it made me sleep better than normally. In the premises everything was very clean and according to the info, no issues were encountered during our two day stay. A bit of walking to the nearest bus stop but that route was also very scenic so didn't mind that at all, and Uber isn't that expensive to go the centrum for example.

A very small hassle with the toilet situation. Some kind of bidet shower would be good solution for this, but of course quite a shenanigans to start installing that to a boat :) Really, nothing that I didn't like in Casey's boat. Strong recommendation for travellers who look something a bit different than basic (and boring) five-star hotel experience.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location by the water is amazing, and staying on a houseboat made it feel unique and memorable.

Be aware it’s a bit outside the city centre.

Außergewöhnliche, traumhafte Lage, sehr individuell und besonders. Wir haben die Unterkunft als etwas ganz besonders einzigartig empfunden
