The location was fantastic, just a short walk on a footpath to the village of Hawkshead which is really something. Three good pubs, all serving food and other amenities, including the essential Co-Op. Car parking is easy. View from the lounge window was stunning.
Not much, garden furniture had seen better days and the grounds could do with a little TLC.

Location , parking for car ,really quiet .
Beams in roof (which I know you cannot change ) caught my head a couple of times especially above head in bedroom as you went to lie down .

Very comfy bed. Very well equipped kitchen. Wonderful view out of the sitting room window. Well heated. I felt that the owners really cared. And a great location for exploring the central Lakes.
