Hike to the summit of Claife Heights (4 miles) for a rewarding walk from Far Sawrey, admiring sweeping views across Lake Windermere, just 3 miles away. The lake itself is a natural hub of activity, offering cruises, water sports, and scenic walking routes. Other nearby beauty spots include Tarn Hows (3 miles), Coniston Water (3.5 miles) and the chocolate-box village of Skelwith Bridge (4.5 miles).
