I live in Center City Philadelphia and, almost 20 years ago, I bought this historic Ocean City home as my escape from city life. The house is bright, breezy, and full of charm, with a huge front porch that has become my favorite place to relax. In fact, my friends joke that I didn't buy a house with a porch—I bought a porch with a house attached.

The renovations are now complete, and this first-floor unit has been beautifully restored from top to bottom. Recent improvements include all new plumbing, an on-demand hot water heater, refinished hardwood floors, fresh paint, updated furnishings, and brand-new mini-split air conditioning throughout the home, providing quiet, efficient comfort.

The home sleeps up to 8 guests and features three bedrooms: two bedrooms with full-size beds and a third bedroom with two sets of twin bunk beds.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking and entertaining, and guests have access to the shared fenced yard, outdoor shower, grill, and fire pit. It's the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach.

We're ideally located midway between the beach and the bay, just a short walk from the Ocean City Tabernacle, where you'll find the Wednesday farmers market, and close to Asbury Avenue's shops, restaurants, and cafes.

On your walk to the beach, you'll pass a local coffee shop known for its amazing baked goods, along with a smoothie shop for a healthy start to the day. Just steps from the beach is Oves Restaurant, where you can grab breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a quick snack. Bike and surrey rentals are nearby, and a short stroll down the boardwalk brings you to rides and family fun.

If you're bringing your dog, the popular Dog Beach—where pups can run free and swim in the bay—is only about a five-minute drive away.
